The List for Thursday July 16th 2020

Welcome to another edition of The List

I did not know…Thomas Rhett’s Daughter Is Named After one of the Beatles … “Lennon came from John Lennon from the Beatles. I knew I wanted some sort of musical name for our third child, and me and Lauren both loved the name Lennon. And Love – her middle name was gonna actually be Louise, but in the hospital, one of her friends texted her. She was like, ‘Hey, since it’s Valentine’s Day, maybe you should name her Lennon Love.’ And it kind of started as a joke but kind of became cemented. That’s what we kind of decided in the hospital.”

Reba McEntire will re-launch her Reba Live concert special on YouTube on July 17. Filmed in 1994 at the Omaha Civic Center. The hour-long special features Reba performing 12 of her most popular songs and was her very first network television special. The special will premiere at 7 p.m. CT on July 17 via YouTube, featuring Reba celebrating with fans and giving you exclusive behind the scenes of the special via chat.

Mike Tyson is going to ‘glove up’ for a match with America’s favorite fish in a new special on the Discovery Channel, “Tyson vs. Jaws: Rumble On the Reef,” will air Aug. 9 during the network’s famed Shark Week. Tyson will “square off” against a shark “in the name of research,” reports Entertainment Weekly. Tyson’s water fight kicks off the 32nd Shark Week. This year, 20 hours of fin-filled footage will air over eight days from Aug. 9 to 16.

TMZ says Kanye West restarted his Presidential campaign yesterday by filing paperwork with the Federal Election Commission. He is calling his political party the BDY Party, which stands for Birthday Party. Kanye must file another form that shows he has spent $5,000 in campaign money. This will allow him to become a true candidate under Federal Campaign Finance Law. The Miami Herald says Kanye has qualified to appear on Oklahoma’s presidential ballot.

The List for Thursday, December 4th 2025

Welcome to The List,

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are allegedly hitting a rough patch not over romance, but over the prenup. An insider claims the financial talks are “cold-hearted,” mostly because their bank accounts look like they’re from two different planets. Travis wants to play another season or two and eventually jump into broadcasting, and apparently Taylor’s not thrilled with that plan. The source says there is supposed to be a wedding this offseason… but right now the negotiations look less like love and more like Shark Tank.

Willie Nelson is fed up with the internet declaring him dead every other week and he finally said something. He posted a photo of himself snoozing on a couch with the caption, “If you believe those A.I. death stories one more time.” For months, fake AI posts claimed he collapsed, was hospitalized, or worse. None of it true. Willie’s still here, still laughing, still alive… and more coherent than some of the people posting about him.

-----

Diddy allegedly thinks someone in his own family sold him out after 50 Cent got access to leaked footage for the Netflix documentary ‘The Reckoning’. The footage shows him distressed on a phone call and Diddy is reportedly determined to figure out who leaked it. He believes only family had access to something that sensitive. And after watching parts of the doc myself? Yeah… “eye-opening” is putting it lightly. This story gets messier by the hour.

-----

Luke Combs told ESPN he wants to headline the Super Bowl halftime show and watch his Carolina Panthers win that same game. Bold. Very bold. He said he grew up in Charlotte when the Panthers became a team, so it’s “in his blood.” Look, we love the confidence but asking for a halftime slot and a Panthers Super Bowl victory is what scientists call “a miracle.”
