Welcome to The List,

Time” Magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year Is . . . Exactly Who You Think it Is  Taylor Swift and she has a message for her enemies:  Quote, “Trash takes itself out every single time” Taylor is the first entertainer to be named Person of the Year, unless you count Bono, who was named in 2005 as a “Good Samaritan” along with Bill and Melinda Gates.

Jon Pardi released an animated video for Beer for Santa.  He says, quote, “It just feels old school and classic like how you used to watch ‘Rudolph’, but with a new and slightly more mature twist on it.”

—–

Ryan Reynolds is politely asking people to STOP posting photos from the “Deadpool 3” set. Quote, “Surprises are part of the magic of theatrical movies . . . Telephoto lenses continue to spoil surprises and create a difficult situation for everyone . . “Deadpool 3” hits theaters July 26th.

The List for Thursday, February 19th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Travis Kelce is out here setting expectations so high the rest of us are gonna get yelled at for bringing home gas station flowers. He’s reportedly spent $141,000 on pre-wedding gifts for Taylor Swift, including Rolex watches, designer jackets, and daily flower deliveries. Daily. Meanwhile, I forgot my anniversary once and tried to fix it with a breakfast burrito. Travis Kelce just ruined relationships for every man in America.

-----

Lainey Wilson is teasing new music, and the title might be the most Lainey Wilson thing ever. The new single is called “Can’t Sit Still,” which tracks, because she’s been everywhere except my back yard party. She says her friends describe her as “a suitcase with legs,” which honestly sounds like Delta Airlines lost her twice already. No official release date yet, but she says it’s coming “real soon,” so prepare your playlists accordingly.

-----

Bunnie XO just revealed she thought Jelly Roll was a jerk when they first met, which proves once again women love a fixer-upper. She said he had “teddy bear with teeth energy” and sad eyes, and she basically looked at him like a home improvement project from HGTV. Fast forward to now, they’re one of Country music’s biggest power couples. Moral of the story, sometimes the guy who ignores you becomes your husband.

-----

The new Mummy reboot is ditching the Tom Cruise action vibe and going straight for emotional damage. This one’s from the director of Evil Dead Rise, so instead of running from explosions, you’ll be running from your own nightmares. It’s about a girl who disappears and comes back after spending quality time inside a 3,000-year-old coffin. It hits theaters April 17th, and I’ll be watching it from the safety of daylight and denial.

You can catch The List, this afternoon at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
