The List for Thursday, December 1st 2022

Welcome to The List,

Al Roker was hospitalized earlier this month due to blood clots in his leg and lungs . . . but he was released just in time for Thanksgiving. However, on Friday, he had to be rushed back to the hospital.  A source says, quote, “His condition was worrying, but once back in the hospital he improved.” Al is still in the hospital, so he missed last night’s lighting of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center . . . just like he missed last week’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time in 27 years.

“People” magazine named four celebrities as their People of the Year for the inspiring work they’ve done. Matthew McConaughey for his help with Uvalde, Quinta Brunson she created the sitcom “Abbott Elementary” on ABC and won an Emmy for it. Jennifer Hudson for her talk show and becoming the youngest woman to achieve EGOT status (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) and Mila Kunis for her work on raising money for refugees in Ukraine.

Do opposites attract and can it really work? Jason Aldean and his wife are proof that opposites attract and yes they can work. He says he and his wife are completely different.  “I love to hunt, she love animals. I love sports and she don’t care you know…it’s just..whatever”.

Shane Profitt has an ideal woman…The “How It Oughta Be” singer says  “I need a woman that’ll drag me to church on Sundays when I get home on Saturday night from a show.  She makes me go to church, and she can make biscuits from scratch with gravy.  That’s the ideal woman.” Lady’s there’s your ‘in’…

The trailer for “Cocaine Bear” is out, and it looks amazing.  It’s based on a true story of a cocaine shipment that gets tossed out of a plane, and a bear gets ahold of it.  It sounds like a pretty wild, dark comedy.

The search for the new James Bond continues and may be getting closer to who they’re looking for…Kick Ass and Bullet Train star Aaron Taylor-Johnson has become the front-runner to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond. Johnson reportedly took a top-secret screen test in September. A source tells the news outlets. He is now one of the front-runners.”

The List for Wednesday, December 17th 2025

Welcome to The List,

Is Tom Bergeron coming back to Dancing with the Stars? Naughty But Nice says producers are seriously considering it. After his recent return, insiders say the crowd went nuts, ratings spiked, and backstage felt like the glory days. Now they want him to cross over from judge to contestant. One source said Tom didn’t just come back, he stole the show. And now they want him to steal the Mirrorball. Fired. Rehired. Rebranded. That’s a glow-up.

Thanks to Zootopia 2, the Indonesian pit viper is suddenly a trendy pet in China. Small issue though. It’s highly venomous. Chinese state media is now begging people to stop buying them. Because nothing says “bad idea” like letting a children’s movie convince you to bring home a snake that can medically ruin your week. Darwinism, at it’s finest….

-----

Jelly Roll told Joe Rogan something wild. He says he thought he was colorblind for over twenty years. He could see basic shades but didn’t realize how colorful the world actually was. After losing weight and cutting out sugar, something changed. The moment it hit him was when he noticed a “new” purple tulip in his yard. His wife laughed and said it had been there for two years…HD vision unlocked.

-----

Morgan Wallen told Country Now that becoming a dad completely changed his mindset. He admitted there was a time when he didn’t care who his actions affected. But once his son was born, he started thinking about the world differently and who he spends time with. That’ll do it. Nothing grows you up faster than realizing someone’s watching everything you do….and bolting down a few chairs…

Sad news…Buck Rogers star Gil Gerard has died at the age of 82 from cancer. Gerard played Rogers on the NBC series between 1979 and 1981
