The List for Thursday, April 8th 2021

Welcome to The List,

Luke Bryan talks to Jimmy Kimmel about how accident prone he’s become lately.  He had a bad run-in with a fishing hook and a trout earlier…and now he biking in LA…”I rode up a big hill, then when you get up the hill and you look back down the valley, You realize what you’ve been breathing in for two hours, an now my voice…I was like I just peddled through all of that smog.”  I thought things were clearer now that everyone was on lockdown because of the pandemic.

Brett Young Has Turned His Sister into A BIG Country Music Fan … “She’s so supportive, first of all, and secondly, that only worked because she didn’t like country music. She’s now one of the biggest country music fans I know. it’s been really cool to see the girl who hated country so much that I would play it to annoy her become a big country music fan and get to be a part of this with me.” That’s what we do convert EVERYONE into a Country music fan… one… at… a.. time…

Tiger Woods is recovering from his February 23rd accident which left him pretty banged up.  The LA Sheriff insists that there was no “Preferential Treatment” shown to Tiger. “There was no signs of impairment, our primary concern once we obviously are at the scene of the collision was his safety.  This is were you have to switch gears, and make sure the person survives and receives the medical care they need.  That would occur at any collision of this type based on these circumstances.” Although Tiger was traveling 84 in a 45-mile speed zone to begin with.

We Got This Covered says Dwayne ”The Rock” Johnson is being eyed to play a Terminator in an upcoming movie. No word on if he would be a good or bad Terminator. John Cena, Margot Robbie and previous Terminator star Edward Furlong are also being mentioned for the next Terminator project.

NBC says animal expert Jack Hanna, a favorite of late night talk shows, has Alzheimer’s disease.  His family released a statement saying, “His condition has progressed much faster in the last few months than any of us could have anticipated.

The List for Thursday, March 19th 2026

Welcome to The List…

Hollywood’s biggest fear is officially here. Dead actors… still booking roles. A new movie is using A.I. to bring Val Kilmer back. Yeah. From the grave… straight to the premiere. The director says Val wanted this. His family signed off too. Which is great… until your Netflix suggestions start haunting you. Somewhere an Oscar just felt uncomfortable.

-----

Tom Brady says he wears a disguise to his kids’ games. Not kidding. Hoodie. Hat. Full undercover quarterback mode. Apparently the kids don’t want attention on them because… you know… their dad is TOM BRADY. Imagine trying to sneak into a gym when you’re built like a superhero statue. Sir… we still know it’s you.

-----

Rumor is Keith Urban might be going through a midlife crisis after the split. Sources say he wants to live the single life again. Totally different person now. Which honestly just sounds like every guy who suddenly discovers energy drinks and fitted jeans. Next step is obvious. Corvette. New Balance. Bluetooth headset.

-----

Kenny Chesney just launched his own record label. Big move. Real boss energy. It’s named after his boat… because of course it is. And the first artist he signed…drumroll… Kenny Chesney. Man skipped the middleman and hired himself. HR meeting must be real smooth.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
