Welcome to The List,
I want to ahead and get this out of the way…Maren Morris says she’s walking away from country music. That’s it…the reasons don’t matter to me…

If you’re interested in such things…The Daily Mail says Jean-Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal almost fought in Sylvester Stallone’s back yard in 1997 in front of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, and Shaquille O’Neal. Van Damme was tired of Seagal claiming he could beat him, so he challenged him outside. Seagal wanted none of it.”

Alan Jackson celebrated what would’ve been Hank Williams’ 100th birthday yesterday with an acoustic cover of “Your Cheatin’ Heart”. He says, quote, “I don’t think I’d be here without you.” Hank passed away at the young age of 29 back in 1953.

HARDY will be presented with the ACM Artist-Songwriter of the Year award at next week’s Academy of Country Music Honors, and his pal Bailey Zimmerman celebrated the accomplishment with a soulful performance of “Signed, Sober You”. Watch the ACM Honors on Monday Sept. 18 at 7pm on Fox.

Geo TV says Ben Affleck is allegedly having trouble standing up to his controlling wife, Jennifer Lopez. Therapy helps keep them together. A source says, “Lopez feels the need to micromanage Ben’s life to an extreme degree. Now Ben’s so badgered and browbeaten he doesn’t have the strength to stand up for himself.”

And lastly, There’s a chance Aaron Rodgers could return this season . . . especially if the Jets make the playoffs…Not if they keep playing like they did last night against the Cowboys. Jets lost 30-10…

Welcome to The List,
Travis Kelce is out here setting expectations so high the rest of us are gonna get yelled at for bringing home gas station flowers. He’s reportedly spent $141,000 on pre-wedding gifts for Taylor Swift, including Rolex watches, designer jackets, and daily flower deliveries. Daily. Meanwhile, I forgot my anniversary once and tried to fix it with a breakfast burrito. Travis Kelce just ruined relationships for every man in America.

Lainey Wilson is teasing new music, and the title might be the most Lainey Wilson thing ever. The new single is called “Can’t Sit Still,” which tracks, because she’s been everywhere except my back yard party. She says her friends describe her as “a suitcase with legs,” which honestly sounds like Delta Airlines lost her twice already. No official release date yet, but she says it’s coming “real soon,” so prepare your playlists accordingly.

Bunnie XO just revealed she thought Jelly Roll was a jerk when they first met, which proves once again women love a fixer-upper. She said he had “teddy bear with teeth energy” and sad eyes, and she basically looked at him like a home improvement project from HGTV. Fast forward to now, they’re one of Country music’s biggest power couples. Moral of the story, sometimes the guy who ignores you becomes your husband.

The new Mummy reboot is ditching the Tom Cruise action vibe and going straight for emotional damage. This one’s from the director of Evil Dead Rise, so instead of running from explosions, you’ll be running from your own nightmares. It’s about a girl who disappears and comes back after spending quality time inside a 3,000-year-old coffin. It hits theaters April 17th, and I’ll be watching it from the safety of daylight and denial.
You can catch The List, this afternoon at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
