The List for Monday September 14th 2020

Welcome to The List –

Jameson Rodgers Got To Perform ‘Some Girls’ On The TODAY Show With Hoda And Jenna and still can’t believe it happened… “Pretty unbelievable experience, getting to see myself on national television on the “Today” show. It’s not every day that somebody from Batesville, Mississippi is on national television, so that was a pretty cool thing. Definitely made me look cool in my hometown, my mom thinks I’ve made it now which is great” .

Keith Urban got a little lazy at the start of the pandemic …“I just put on my sweatpants, sit on the couch and watch TV with the family until the whole thing blows over. I just did nothing…for what seemed an eternity to me” But, in true Keith Urban fashion, you can’t keep creativity down…found some motivation and he’s off and running…

A couple blockbuster movies are being pushed BACK because of the pandemic…The theatrical release of “Wonder Woman 1984” from October 2nd to this Christmas. Warner Bros.’ next release “Dune,” which looks fantastic, will still open on Dec. 18.

Cars technically cannot go into outer space, but the laws of physics never stopped the Fast & Furious movies from pulling off crazy stunts. One crazy stunt that might make it into F9 will take Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto into outer space, according to franchise star Michelle Rodriguez. During a recent SiriusXM interview, Rodriguez appeared to confirm that rumor. F9 was originally set to come out this year, but it was pushed back to April 2, 2021, due to the coronavirus pandemic…and the fact that Tom Cruise wants to go into space FIRST…

The List for Thursday, March 19th 2026

Welcome to The List…

Hollywood’s biggest fear is officially here. Dead actors… still booking roles. A new movie is using A.I. to bring Val Kilmer back. Yeah. From the grave… straight to the premiere. The director says Val wanted this. His family signed off too. Which is great… until your Netflix suggestions start haunting you. Somewhere an Oscar just felt uncomfortable.

-----

Tom Brady says he wears a disguise to his kids’ games. Not kidding. Hoodie. Hat. Full undercover quarterback mode. Apparently the kids don’t want attention on them because… you know… their dad is TOM BRADY. Imagine trying to sneak into a gym when you’re built like a superhero statue. Sir… we still know it’s you.

-----

Rumor is Keith Urban might be going through a midlife crisis after the split. Sources say he wants to live the single life again. Totally different person now. Which honestly just sounds like every guy who suddenly discovers energy drinks and fitted jeans. Next step is obvious. Corvette. New Balance. Bluetooth headset.

-----

Kenny Chesney just launched his own record label. Big move. Real boss energy. It’s named after his boat… because of course it is. And the first artist he signed…drumroll… Kenny Chesney. Man skipped the middleman and hired himself. HR meeting must be real smooth.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
