The 57TH annual ACM Awards is tonight New this year? The ACM Awards is leaving its traditionally broadcast home on CBS to totally bypass broadcast television — a first for a major awards show — to air exclusively as a livestream on Amazon Prime Video. Here’s a small preview of tonight’s show…Miranda Lambert surprising Parker McCollum with the news that he is this year’s ACM New Male Artist of the Year. “Are you serious? I’m like getting blurry vision right now.  Oh my goodness. “The ACM Awards air tonight 7pm on Amazon Prime Video.

Now that The Batman is the number one movie Robert Pattinson tells Variety magazine that he wants to star in a Planet of the Apes movie. ”I love those Apes movies so much. He saw what Andy Circus did with motion cap and thought…” Yeah, I can do that!”

Disney+ is rolling out a cheaper subscription tier later this year that’ll be ad-supported.  In other words, it’ll be cheaper, but you’ll have to watch commercials.  There’s no word yet on the exact date, or the cost.  Disney+ currently costs $7.99 a month, or $79.99 a year.

Dolly Parton will be  hosting The 57th annual ACM Awards …and talks about how this year’s awards are making history. “ We’re gong to be in Las Vegas for the first time, we’re going to be streaming all over the world for the first time with Amazon Prime Video. So, I’m looking forward to it, It’s going to be fun. The ACM Awards air tonight 7pm on Amazon Prime Video.

Speaking of ‘The Batman’ which happens to be the number one movie…but another big star is set to take up the Bat-cowl in just a few months: Keanu Reeves. The “Matrix” star will voice Bruce Wayne in the animated film “DC League of Super Pets,” which sees members of the Justice League get their own superpowered pets, with Superman’s beloved canine Krypto (Dwayne Johnson) leading them all.  It’s kinda cool, you can see the trailer below

MORGAN WALLEN’s “Dangerous:  The Double Album” is unstoppable.  It’s spent more weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 than any other country album in history.  It’s been there for 60 weeks, which passes Taylor Swift’s previous record of 59 weeks for her album, “Fearless”.

In case you missed it, MICKEY GUYTON was the guest-host last Thursday on “Ellen”.  She had JIMMIE ALLEN on to talk about co-hosting tonight’s ACMs, his Grammy nomination, and being on “Dancing with the Stars”.  She asked him to demonstrate some of his “Dancing with the Stars” moves, so he got up and did the cha-cha..

Legendary Hollywood director Rob Reiner and his wife, were found dead at their Brentwood, Los Angeles home Sunday afternoon, and police are investigating it as an apparent double homicide. Investigators believe both suffered fatal stab wounds, and detectives from the LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division are questioning a family member as part of the probe. Authorities have not yet publicly named a suspect. Reiner, 78, was known for classic films like When Harry Met Sally and The Princess Bride, and fans and public officials are mourning this loss as the investigation continues.

Ben Affleck is allegedly trapped in another holiday tug-of-war between Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner. According to insiders, this is basically last year on repeat. Ben wants to split time between both families in L.A., but J.Lo wants something bigger like flying everyone somewhere tropical for a full blended-family holiday reset. Garner, meanwhile, is standing firm and not changing her plans. Ben just wants turkey. Instead, he’s negotiating peace treaties.

Lainey Wilson is crossing over from country music to Monday Night Football tonight, joining Peyton and Eli on the Manningcast as the Steelers take on the Dolphins. And yes there’s a personal tie. Lainey’s fiancé is former Steelers quarterback Devlin Hodges. So she’s got skin in the game, insider knowledge, and probably better fashion than both Mannings combined.
