Welcome to the List,

Jelly Roll skyrocketing in the charts with his hits “Need a Favor” and “Save Me” Recently was a part of a panel for Billboard Magazine that includes other big power players in the genre. A steadfast advocate for mental health he told the crowd that his “me hour” is the key to staying sane during his wild ride.  “I play video games for about an hour every day, No matter what’s happening in my life, this is my “me hour,” There is 24 hours in a day everybody. We should be able to make a little me time for us. Something you love to do. I encourage you. It helps with mental health so much,” Adding, sometimes he plays with friends and sometimes he doesn’t, it is important for him to prioritize himself.

Congratulations to Morgan Wallen!!  He is the first country artist to sell out back to back shows at Wrigley Field in Chicago!! Bailey Zimmerman, Ernest, and Hardy were the openers, but Morgan owned the night.  He performed for two hours, give or take. There was a charitable moment backstage when Morgan donated $100,000 to the Chicago Park District.  The funds will help revitalize a local baseball field.  He said, quote, “The mission with our foundation is to support youth programs in sports and music.”

Spiderman’s Tom Holland is an accomplished Carpenter, and you wouldn’t know it to see him…he tells Unilad that he got Zendaya to fall in love with him by fixing her door. early on in our relationship. I was hanging out at her house and her door was broken. I was like, ‘I’m gonna fix that door for you. ’He made his mother’s kitchen table, and her office, cupboards in his bedroom and a birdhouse with his grandfather…

This is a pretty big level of star power.  Garth Brooks partied with Michael Jordan, Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick in Nashville.  They were all in town for yesterday’s NASCAR race the Ally 400 were Ross Chastain took the checker. It isn’t shocking that Michael was there.  If you didn’t know, he’s the co-owner of 23XI Racing, which fields cars for Bubba and Tyler.

Vanna White reportedly wants a huge raise to stay with “Wheel of Fortune” after Pat Sajak leaves.  She currently makes $3 million a year, which is five times less than Pat makes.

The List for Friday, February 13th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Brantley Gilbert sang “Dirt Road Anthem” at the Turning Point USA halftime show, and Zach Bryan took it personally. So Zach dropped a parody called “Chili on a Hot Dog,” basically roasting the lyrics and celebrating double-fisted chili dogs like it’s a county fair championship. Brantley fired back by grabbing two foot-long chili dogs on stage and acting it out. Jason Aldean chimed in with, “Best song I’ve heard from that guy.” Nothing says country unity like processed meat.

Thomas Rhett admitted on a podcast he’s losing hearing in one ear at 35 and had to get hearing aids. Years of loud concerts… plus four kids and a fifth on the way. He wore them for a week and asked his wife, “Is this what you hear all day?” She basically said, welcome to marriage. Turns out the loudest tour of his life is at home.

-----

There’s a new indie horror movie called ‘The House Was Not Hungry Then’, told entirely from the haunted house’s perspective. No close-ups. No dramatic reaction shots. Just the house silently watching a woman search for her missing father. It hits video on demand February 13th. So now even the drywall is judging you.

-----

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer says he’s working on Top Gun 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 6. He told Screen Rant it’s basically a horse race. Right now Top Gun is barely ahead, waiting on a script. So Maverick might fly again… or Jack Sparrow might stumble back in. Hollywood is saying…. originality is overrated.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
