The List for Monday, February 13th 2023

Welcome to The List,

First congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on their Super Bowl win!!!!

Some of the best Super Bowl commercials included Will Ferrell crashing multiple Netflix shows in a GM electric vehicle . . . Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul bringing back their “Breaking Bad” characters for PopCorners The last time Fox hosted the Super Bowl in 2020, a commercial spot cost $5.6 million.  But this year, a 30-second ad was $7 million.

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly appear to have broken up, and some people think it’s because MGK cheated with his female guitarist.  If you remember, Megan’s engagement ring was designed to HURT if she takes it off. The internet reacts “Someone check Pete Davidson isn’t sitting out front in a car waiting.”

—–

The country community was all over social media praising Chris Stapleton’s National Anthem at the Super Bowl.  Carly Pearce called it “the most soulful Anthem ever.”  Mickey Guyton said he “killed it” . . . while Jordan Davis said he “crushed” it.  And Parker McCollum called him “the greatest singer of all time.”  I know he made the Philadelphia Eagles coach cry…

—–

Morgan Wallen’s new album “One Thing at a Time” is ALL OVER the charts . . . and it doesn’t come out until March 3rd.  According to “Billboard”, he already has seven Top 10 hits from it on the Hot Country Songs chart.

—–

In touch Weekly Magazine claims Leonardo DiCaprio is allegedly hesitant to be seen in public because of reports he is dating a 19 year old model named Eden Polani. The couple was seen at a recent social event together. Leonardo is 48. The Blast says Eden has flown back to Israel to spend time with her family. Page Six says her parents are not happy about recent headlines she is dating Leo.

—–

And finally, NASCAR announced Breland will perform the National Anthem at the 65th Daytona 500.  Quote, “His creative style and unique singing voice adds an extra element of excitement to a momentous weekend of racing and entertainment.”  It airs this Sunday, the 19th, at 1:30 p.m. Central on Fox and 12:30 HERE on your home for NASCAR…

The List for Wednesday, April 1st 2026

Welcome to The List,

Meghan Markle allegedly thought she could jump the royal line. A new book claims she believed she should be queen next. Said she was smarter, better, and worked harder than Kate. That’s not confidence, that’s skipping the entire family tree.

-----

Two Blackhawk helicopters hovering over Kid Rock’s house raised eyebrows fast. Army pilots got suspended while the investigation played out. Then the Defense Secretary stepped in and shut it down. Suspensions lifted, no punishment, case closed just like that.

-----

Keith Urban might be ready to say a little more. A report claims he felt iced out of Nicole Kidman’s interview. She talked family and life but didn’t mention him once. Now there’s talk he could finally tell his side. Nothing says romance like a possible press tour response.

-----

And if you saw Jason Aldean storm off Colbert… relax. That viral story is completely made up from top to bottom. Wrong show name, bad details, zero credible sources behind it. The internet really said “let’s just create chaos today.” Moral of the story, not everything trending is actually true…I know…surprise right??

You can catch The List, weekdays afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
