The List for Monday, December 20th 2021

Welcome to The List,

There’s something to be said about a ‘traditional Christmas’ and Alan Jackson likes to do just that… “Christmas is pretty traditional. We don’t let anybody open any presents until Christmas morning, everybody has to wait and kind of get situated, and maybe have a cup of coffee, and then we start all of the regular Christmas morning activities”  I still always get anxious and ready to get goin!

Yellowstone prequel 1883 debuted this week, and we already know that A-list actor Tom Hanks is going to have a surprise cameo in Episode 2. Hanks will be playing Union General George Meade, a real life American Civil War hero who is most well-known for defeating Robert E. Lee at the Battle of Gettysburg. Hanks’ scene was reportedly shot in just one day, and was somewhat a favor to Tim and Faith.

There’s nothing quite like the sights and sounds of Christmas…the music, usually the snow all mix to make a special season…Brett Young he loves the sights and smells of Christmas … “The first thing always is that the day after Thanksgiving all the Christmas decorations including the tree go up at my parents’ house and in my apartment.  And then anything kind of like ‘nutmeg’ I’ll be, ‘All right I’ve got to make some sort of holiday dessert to make the house smell like that.” And of course there are the Christmas movies every year..his big favorite which is a no brainer “Elf”

‘Director Matt Reeves tells Empire magazine that Robert Pattinson’s Batman is inspired by Kurt Cobain. Saying when he wrote the story he was listening to Nirvana’s ‘Something In The Way’ and started making connections as Bruce Wayne having this Kurt Cobain thing, where he looks like a rock star, but you also feel like he could be a recluse.

Matt Reeves ‘The Batman’ is scheduled in theaters March 4th of next year.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home,” was the hit at the box office over the weekend…with a whopping $253 million. The film cost $200 million to produce. Overseas, the movie earned $334.2 million followed by “Encanto,” and “West Side Story,” rounding out the top three
