Country superstar Kacey Musgraves opened up about her highly anticipated new LP and her divorce from Ruston Kelly. Giving some intimate details about a guided psychedelic trip that inspired her new album on the podcast A Slight Change of Plans, hosted by Dr. Maya Shankar. Saying it opened a “flood of emotion and ideas” The record is finished, and the follow-up to her grammy-winning album ‘Golden Hour’ is due for a late-summer or early-fall release.

Jake Gyllenhaal tells Vanity Fair magazine that, like Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell and Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, he does not always bathe. Saying “More and more I find bathing to be less necessary, at times. I do believe, that good manners and bad breath get you nowhere. So I do that. But I do also think that there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves.”

Jeopardy may have a new permanent host….Just months after having guests host the show  the production is nearing a deal to name Alex Trebek’s permanent replacement. According to Variety, Mike Richards is in advanced negotiations to host Jeopardy permanently. Richards was one of the guest hosts of the program earlier this year and earned positive reviews from fans. He joined the Jeopardy crew early 2020 as an executive producer, when asked Sony refused to comment only to say they are STILL in negotiations with other candidates.

We are saddened to report that James Van Der Beek has passed away at the age of 48 after battling stage 3 colorectal cancer. His family confirmed the news on social media, sharing that he had been fighting the disease since August 2023. Van Der Beek became a household name as Dawson Leery on Dawson's Creek, a show that defined a generation of television. He leaves behind his wife and six children. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans.

But Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold could reportedly lose money because of California’s “jock tax.” Out-of-state players get taxed based on duty days spent in the state. With his massive contract and bonuses, estimates say he could owe between $200,000 and $250,000. Win the ring, lose to taxes. Classic.
