Welcome to The List,
Last year, the people behind the latest “Halloween” trilogy announced they were giving the same treatment to “The Exorcist”. Yes, a new “Exorcist” movie is in the works. Pretty early on, they announced that Ellen Burstyn was returning to play Chris MacNeil. But nobody said anything about Linda Blair coming back to play her daughter Regan. Even though she was on set for a few days, all they’ll say is that she, quote, “served as an advisor.”

Chris Lane shared footage of himself crashing his riding mower into a parked car in his driveway. He was kinda asking for it though because he was attempting to drive around said car WHILE holding a lawn trimmer, rake, and hoe he wrote in the caption: “The yard work is gonna have to wait. I now have a car to fix.” You can see the video here…(Warning: There are profanities toward the end of the video.)

I thought this was funny, Someone accused rocker Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang Van Halen of exploiting his name for publicity. So he asked followers to choose his new name from the following: Wolfgang Led Zeppelin . . . Wolfgang AC/DC . . . Wolfgang The Who . . . and Wolfgang Paul McCartney. They chose Zeppelin.

With Corey Kent’s current single “Wild As Her” climbing the country charts does his children understand what dad does for a living? “They don’t really understand the gravity of what’s happening. But my oldest is now kind of to the age where she’s starting to ask questions about why I’m gone and when I’m coming home. And you know, we’ve been really working on them understanding the fact that I play music, dad plays music to take care of his kids and his wife, and the family.” Corey’s oldest is four, then he has a two and then a five month old little boy.

Giant Freakin Robot says Tom Cruise and Steven Spielberg are teaming for a new action movie called ‘Nomad’. The duo have worked together twice before on ‘’Minority Report’ and ‘The War of the Worlds’. ‘’Nomad’s’’ plot is being kept a secret It’s speculated to be a Sci-Fi movie…. whatever it is you know you’re going to get two things…Great FX and Tom running…alot…

Lastly, The Boot reports Brothers Osborne wiped their entire Instagram account clean . . . leaving just one post that says, “Big things coming. Join the family fan club.” It’s not clear what it means, but it’s probably something music-related.

The April Minuteman Printing & Graphics Pack the Backpack winner, is Sarah Fricke – K-4 Special Behavior Intervention Teacher @ Woodrow Wilson Elementary School in Newton. She was nominated by Steven Marsh, Jaimie Bru, Ashley Durant, and Jonathan Duran, and here is what they wrote to Kix 101.1.

"She loves her job. She is good at her job. And she loves the students like they are her own kids."
"She works hard to help kids with behavior issues be successful at becoming their best self and helps get them on the right track to being able to be in classes with the other kids."
"Sarah is amazing with her students. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that her students are taken care of."
"Sarah teaches in and out of school no matter where you see her. She is always buying supplies, rewards, etc. out of her own pocket to ensure the kids are getting what they need. She goes above and beyond what any teacher is required to do. There are times she brings snacks to ensure kids get a birthday at school, Buys McDonalds, etc. if a child works hard enough on their issue etc."
On the last Wednesday of the month during the school year, we award $101 to a Kix Country classroom to help out with supplies. Nominate a Kix Country teacher today at Kixweb.com.

Welcome to The List,
Taylor Swift has officially entered her glittery legal era again. A Las Vegas performer says Taylor’s use of “The Life Of A Showgirl” is stomping all over her own brand, “Confessions of a Showgirl.” She’s suing for trademark infringement, wants damages, and an injunction too.

Only Kid Rock could turn a poolside salute into a military investigation. The Army says two Blackhawk helicopters near his Tennessee mansion were just on a Nashville training route, but now they’re checking into why they hovered there. Kid says nobody’s getting in trouble and called it pretty neat. Nothing says casual Tuesday like cannonballs, patriotism, and two black helicopters hovering near your house…

Riley Green is stacking side quests like a pro. He’s making his TV debut on Marshals in mid-April. And because sleep is for other people, he’s also reportedly opening a second Duck Blind bar in Gatlinburg. At this point Riley’s building a country music cinematic universe.

Thomas Rhett says one of his favorite parts of touring is trying wild new foods on the road, which sounds adventurous and expensive. Meanwhile Dylan Scott keeps it a little more backyard chaos at home, admitting he’ll wander into the kitchen at midnight and cook a full meal like it’s noon. His wife wakes up confused; he’s making dinner round two. That’s not a snack, that’s a second shift.
