The List for Friday, January 13th 2023

Welcome to The List,

And We lose another one…  Lisa Marie Presley died in an L.A. hospital yesterday after her heart stopped working.  It happened just days after she attended the Golden Globes to see Austin Butler win for playing her dad.  She would have been 55 next month.

The officialM3GANthe doll hosted an “Ask Me Anything” on Reddit and let it be known she could defeat Chucky or Annabelle in a fight.  Quote, “Annabelle never moves, so I wouldn’t have to really lift a finger against her, and Chucky is old, so I’d just go right for his pacemaker.”

Dolly Parton is turning 77 next Thursday . . . and the Grand Ole Opry is celebrating with a multi-day event, which will run all weekend.  There will be a “larger-than-life” 77th birthday card for fans to sign at the Ryman . . . 77 hours of Dolly giveaways on Opry social media . . . and more.

Radar Online claims Miranda Lambert allegedly has her husband, Brendan, on a short leash. A source tells the website, “Miranda knows she and Brendan had a crazy beginning, but they’ve made it through three years of marriage. She believes in holding her friends close — and her husband closer.”

The NY Post says Prince Harry loves to shop at TJ Maxx. In his new memoir, he writes, “For my everyday casual clothes, I’d go to TJ Maxx. I was particularly fond of their once-a-year sale, If you timed it right, got there on the first day of the sale, you could snag the same clothes that others were paying top prices for down the high street!”

Earlier this week we reported that Ben Affleck was spotted serving coffee at a Medford, Massachusetts Dunkin Donuts.  Well, Radar Online says he has signed an eight-figure deal to endorse Dunkin’.  The website says Ben loves Dunkin Donuts and was filming a Super Bowl commercial at the restaurant.

The List for Wednesday, April 1st 2026

Welcome to The List,

Meghan Markle allegedly thought she could jump the royal line. A new book claims she believed she should be queen next. Said she was smarter, better, and worked harder than Kate. That’s not confidence, that’s skipping the entire family tree.

-----

Two Blackhawk helicopters hovering over Kid Rock’s house raised eyebrows fast. Army pilots got suspended while the investigation played out. Then the Defense Secretary stepped in and shut it down. Suspensions lifted, no punishment, case closed just like that.

-----

Keith Urban might be ready to say a little more. A report claims he felt iced out of Nicole Kidman’s interview. She talked family and life but didn’t mention him once. Now there’s talk he could finally tell his side. Nothing says romance like a possible press tour response.

-----

And if you saw Jason Aldean storm off Colbert… relax. That viral story is completely made up from top to bottom. Wrong show name, bad details, zero credible sources behind it. The internet really said “let’s just create chaos today.” Moral of the story, not everything trending is actually true…I know…surprise right??

You can catch The List, weekdays afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
