The List for Friday, February 12th 2021

Welcome to The List –

With Valentine’s day this weekend Dierks Bentley shares some of his “First Date” Tips … “You know, just opening the door, it’s such a big deal. It’s just a nice thing to do. It’s a car door, unlocking the door for somebody to get in the car first and hold the door to get in, and I just think that’s just, if you’re doing that, then you’re obviously thinking about ways to be respectful, be considerate, be kind and be thoughtful and make for a good first date.”

Blake Shelton on Stephen Colbert  talks about his Super Bowl commercial, his engagement to Gwen and explains his new song “Minimum Wage” “The song is about not having very much money sucks, but having love make that a whole lot better.  It’s a common theme in country music about how tough times they suck but if you’re with the person you love it makes it a whole lot easier.”

Lionel Richie Says “American Idol” Teaches Life Lessons … He says the show teaches people how to overcome their fears and their confidence issues. “There are people who are worried in life anxiety in their life, we’re all scared to death every day. But,  when we can impart on them they feel safe enough….think about this, when WE made it we didn’t have twenty-million people watching us fail.  We will take care of them and at the same time guide them. This is the best place in the world for them to come.” American Idol returns this Sunday on ABC.

In touch Weekly Magazine says Jennifer Aniston has a mystery boyfriend. A source tells the magazine, “They have tons in common. He’s down to earth, makes her laugh and he makes her feel safe. One of the best things about Jennifer’s new guy is that he was never a fan of hers or Friends, which she found so refreshing.”
