It’s hard to believe, but we’re already up to Puppy Bowl 19. The rosters for Team Ruff and Team Fluff were announced yesterday. The “game” airs Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Eastern on Animal Planet. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes enters the Super Bowl as this year’s NFL MVP. And Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was named the Walter Payton Man of the Year.

Chris Stapleton will become the ninth country star to do the National Anthem at the Super Bowl this Sunday. But not many country stars have performed at the big game. There hasn’t been one in the halftime show since Shania Twain in 2003. Even though Chris Stapleton is doing that Dierks Bentley wants the NFL to step it up even more and have Chris do next year’s halftime show.

Alec Baldwin is facing another lawsuit in connection with his role in the October 2021 fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust this time from her parents and sister, lawyers for the family said on Thursday. In October, Hutchins’ husband and son settled a wrongful death suit against Baldwin and the film’s producers. The parties in the new suit weren’t a part of the deal.

Carly Pearce tells Everything Nash that she has several requirements for a romantic relationship. “Trust is probably the biggest non-negotiable for me. The Army says two Blackhawk helicopters near his Tennessee mansion were just on a Nashville training route, but now they’re checking into why they hovered there. Kid says nobody’s getting in trouble and called it pretty neat. Nothing says casual Tuesday like cannonballs, patriotism, and two black helicopters hovering near your house…

Thomas Rhett says one of his favorite parts of touring is trying wild new foods on the road, which sounds adventurous and expensive. Meanwhile Dylan Scott keeps it a little more backyard chaos at home, admitting he’ll wander into the kitchen at midnight and cook a full meal like it’s noon. His wife wakes up confused; he’s making dinner round two. That’s not a snack, that’s a second shift.
