The List for Friday, December 18th 2020

Welcome to The List –

We start The List today with Justin Moore looking back on 2020… “It’s provided some really good perspective, and it’s cliché to say, but you don’t know what you got ‘til it’s gone and all of this could be gone tomorrow. I think we’ll look back on it and we’ll probably appreciate more what we get to do day in and day out than maybe we did before, which is a positive thing, for sure.”

Eric Church is giving fans a glimpse into life in the recording studio with his new, behind-the-scenes video for his latest song called “Doing Life With Me.” Not only can viewers get a feel for what creating “Doing Life With Me” was like, but the video also spotlights the family and friends that have been “Doing Life” with Eric for years.

Business Insider says movie theaters might slash ticket prices for Warner Brothers films in 2021, because many of the movies are going to premier on streaming services like HBO Max the same day they’re in theaters. Tickets may cost between $3 and $5 to see movies like “The Suicide Squad” and “The Matrix 4”.

Comedian Whitney Cummings made her fourth appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show … so, Kelly gave her a ‘Team Kelly’ jacket! “Have you ever in your life! I’m going to get so much money for this on ebay!”

Screen Rant reports a Walking Dead comedy series is in the works. Producer Scott Gimple is quoted by the website as saying, “We are working on a straight Walking Dead comedy right now. We’re not making fun of our world, but it’s just more of a comedic take on the world.”

You can catch The List weekdays at 2:20 and 4:20 on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1

The List for Thursday, February 19th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Travis Kelce is out here setting expectations so high the rest of us are gonna get yelled at for bringing home gas station flowers. He’s reportedly spent $141,000 on pre-wedding gifts for Taylor Swift, including Rolex watches, designer jackets, and daily flower deliveries. Daily. Meanwhile, I forgot my anniversary once and tried to fix it with a breakfast burrito. Travis Kelce just ruined relationships for every man in America.

-----

Lainey Wilson is teasing new music, and the title might be the most Lainey Wilson thing ever. The new single is called “Can’t Sit Still,” which tracks, because she’s been everywhere except my back yard party. She says her friends describe her as “a suitcase with legs,” which honestly sounds like Delta Airlines lost her twice already. No official release date yet, but she says it’s coming “real soon,” so prepare your playlists accordingly.

-----

Bunnie XO just revealed she thought Jelly Roll was a jerk when they first met, which proves once again women love a fixer-upper. She said he had “teddy bear with teeth energy” and sad eyes, and she basically looked at him like a home improvement project from HGTV. Fast forward to now, they’re one of Country music’s biggest power couples. Moral of the story, sometimes the guy who ignores you becomes your husband.

-----

The new Mummy reboot is ditching the Tom Cruise action vibe and going straight for emotional damage. This one’s from the director of Evil Dead Rise, so instead of running from explosions, you’ll be running from your own nightmares. It’s about a girl who disappears and comes back after spending quality time inside a 3,000-year-old coffin. It hits theaters April 17th, and I’ll be watching it from the safety of daylight and denial.

You can catch The List, this afternoon at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
