Welcome to The List,
Jon Pardi On His Christmas Plans … “We already called all the family We’re staying in good ole Goodlettsville and we’re gonna relax at our house and enjoy our decorations.’ And so, I think Summer’s parents are coming out. I think my sister is gonna come out, and that’s just kind of our new thing is having people out at the house”

Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is going to be one of Marvel’s BIGGEST movies…but it’s not keeping Tom Holland from pranking the man in charge… “The Spider-Man suite because the thing is so tight, the zips sometimes get stuck. We have a bottle of lube that we squirt on the zips to like get it open. Rich Bow is there he’s one of our big Marvel producers in charge of the money, so you know, a COVID shutdown for him is a very serious thing. This bottle of lube DOES suspiciously look like a bottle of hand sanitizer. So, he walks over and he’s chatting to me and he’s like ‘hey man, can I get some of that hand sanitizer?’ I look at my brother Harry and I’m like this is about to be golden” ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ opens in theaters on Friday, December 17th.

Thursday, Jussie Smollett was found guilty of five counts of disorderly conduct for making false reports to police that he was a victim of a hate crime in January 2019. Prosecutor Dan Webb Responds To the verdict. “Whether we won or lost the trial isn’t the issue. What WAS the issue is that when Mr. Smollett done in this city should be aired in front of a public trial, were ALL the evidence comes out. But, the TRUE facts I thought needed to come out and we did it.

You may have some great Christmas memories…we asked Carrie Underwood about some of her’s.. “One thing that we always did growing up that was one of my favorite memories, we would on Christmas Eve we would go to my grandparents’ house. Us kids were always responsible for putting oranges and apples and bananas in little paper bags and we would go down to the nursing home and sing Christmas carols.” How cool is that….

Welcome to The List,
Oh look… the Grammy nominations are out, which means country fans are already rage-scrolling. Miranda Lambert somehow got shoved into “Contemporary” instead of “Traditional,” so I guess steel guitars are now considered EDM. And Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, AND Megan Moroney all got totally ignored. Meanwhile, a totally FAKE, A.I. country act called Breaking Rust hit #1 with “Walk the Walk.” Two million monthly Spotify listeners… for a robot band. So yes, your toaster may be the next country star. Yee-haw, Skynet.

Hollywood’s ageless action doll Tom Cruise is reportedly back on the dating market after things fizzled with Ana de Armas. Word is he’s looking for a setup and has laser-locked onto Charlize Theron. He wants to “collaborate,” which is celebrity-speak for “Let’s flirt on set and see what happens.” Charlize once called for Tom to join Fast & Furious and now his friends are telling him to go for it. Scientology meets Fast & Furious? I’d watch that more than the last three sequels.

Kim Kardashian is calling out her family psychics for promising she’d pass the bar exam. She says they’re “pathological liars,” which is rich coming from a family built on filters and plot twists. After six years of studying and multiple tries, she still didn’t pass… and now she’s dragging the tarot ladies on TikTok. Somewhere there’s a crystal in Calabasas rolling its eyes…..

Country legend Vince Gill is getting the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s CMAs. Well deserved the man’s been making music longer than most of us have been alive. The CMAs air November 19th at 8pm on ABC, so get ready for the classy part of the show before Jelly Roll shows up with a fog machine and a tattoo budget bigger than Iowa.
You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
