The List for Friday, April 22nd 2022

Welcome to The List,

Mike Tyson punched a man on a JetBlue flight on Wednesday night. The man and his friend were talking to Mike when they asked for a selfie. Mike took one and then became annoyed because he wouldn’t stop talking to him. In the end, the man ended up with a headache, and all ears were accounted for….

One place you will never find Eric Church and that’s on social media. “I never pay attention to it.  I’ve never been on social media. I’ve never tweeted, I don’t know how to tweet. I don’t get on Instagram I have no way to get on any of this.”

The Latest ‘Lightyear’ trailer is out and reveals the ‘Toy Story’ spin-off’s plot and villain.  In the second and more in-depth look at the upcoming animated film, Buzz (voiced by Chris Evans) and his team are seen stranded on a hostile planet more than 4 million light-years from Earth. ‘Lightyear’ will fly into theaters on June 17th. Kacey Musgraves has a great story about the time her grandpa played poker with Willie Nelson and beat him.  But the ‘Buy in’ was $300 cash “So, I went to an ATM I got out some money when I got home I handed Pop a wad of cash and I said Merry Christmas and he said what’s this for. I said this is your buy in for Willie Nelsons poker game tomorrow. He loses all of his money eventually wins it all back and gets up and says well I gotta go.” At least he ended on a HIGH note..no pun intended….

Rapper Snoop Dogg seems to be on EVERYONES recordings…but, it comes at a price…. In a recent interview, Snoop revealed that he charges $250,000 for a feature.  . and that’ll get you about 16 bars. If you want Snoop to appear in the video, that’s ANOTHER $250,000 So for the full package, he’s banking half-a-mil. Oh, and he’s not gonna sit around all day waiting for your director to get the lighting and blocking right.  He says, quote, “You only got an hour, so get to filming.”

The List for Thursday, July 10th 2025

Welcome to The List,

Shaboozey tells People magazine that his Nigerian parents shaped his hustle. His dad worked menial jobs in the U.S. after hardships in Africa, and his mom—who wasn't a fan of his music dream—now joins him onstage. From skeptical to stage mom? That’s a full-circle flex.

-----

Rachel Brosnahan found out she was playing Lois Lane… in a public bathroom. She got a call from “Maybe James Gunn”—and prayed a toilet didn’t flush during the big moment. Honestly? That’s the most relatable superhero origin story I’ve ever heard.

-----

Allegedly, Kim Kardashian felt overshadowed by Sydney Sweeney at Jeff Bezos’ wedding—like invisible-level ignored. She had her eyes on Tom Brady, but he only had eyes for Sydney. Now Kim’s spiraling, thinking four kids and a 40-something birthday might be killing her ‘It Girl’ vibe. Spoiler: it’s not the kids, Kim.

-----

Dolly Parton is out here defying the laws of music and gravity—she just dropped a duet with Motley Crue. Yeah, THAT Motley Crue. They re-did “Home Sweet Home” for its 40th anniversary, and boom—it’s now #1 on the Classic Rock chart. Dolly said country roads? Nah, we’re taking the rock highway now!

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
