The 2025 CMA Awards pulled in 6 million viewers on ABC, the lowest ever. For comparison, the show had 16 million in 2014. Last year’s “worst ever” was 6.1, so congratulations, we’ve shattered the floor. Most people said the show itself was solid, but everyone noticed who wasn’t there: Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Eric Church, Reba, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan… basically half the genre. So what’s to blame? Missing stars, or are people just over award shows?

Ben Affleck is allegedly stuck between Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner this Thanksgiving which is hilarious, because he isn’t dating either one of them. A source says it’s déjà vu: last year he split time between both households, and now the same circus is back. J.Lo reportedly offered to fly everyone somewhere tropical to avoid awkwardness, while Garner basically said, “Find another plan, buddy.” All this drama, and all he wants to do is eat stuffing in peace.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are reportedly only speaking through their lawyers now. One insider said, “It’s not icy…it’s frozen,” which sounds less like a divorce update and more like a weather alert. Nicole is heartbroken but functioning, focusing solely on the girls. Keith’s not pushing for a heart-to-heart, and right now silence is the only thing they agree on.

Tomorrow’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is rolling out new characters, and it’s basically Pop Culture on Parade. New balloons include Buzz Lightyear, Super Mario, and Shrek’s Onion Carriage yes, the onion. New floats include Labubu and a Stranger Things float with a performance from Foreigner. Nothing says “Happy Thanksgiving” like an 80s rock band playing under a giant screaming Mario.

Ella Langley says her manager had to cut off her spending… because she dropped two hundred bucks at a candle store. Two. Hundred. Dollars. Parade Magazine says he told her, “No more splurge purchasing, you’re done.” Ella says she likes sweet scents, clean scents, eucalyptus in the bathroom, all the Zen she can cram into a tour schedule. If $200 in candles is the wildest thing she’s doing, let the woman aromatherapy her way to peace.

Because Hollywood loves nostalgia and nightmares, we now have two Wizard of Oz horror movies on the way. One is called Gale: Yellow Brick Road, which sounds like someone finally snapped on that stroll. The other is Dorothy: The Haunting of Oz, which I assume features fewer singing munchkins and more things crawling out of cornfields. Wicked reboot? Nah. Dorothy’s got demons now.

It’s the holiday season, which means the end-of-year lists are rolling in… and the first one is spicy. A new poll of “cringe celebrities” includes Katy Perry, Jared Leto, and yes Taylor Swift. That sound you hear is Swifties sharpening their pitchforks. Katy, Jared, Taylor… welcome to the Thirsty-Lights Hall of Shame, population: whoever the internet feels like roasting this week.

Riley Green just launched his own bourbon called Duck Club Bourbon, inspired by the great outdoors. It’s meant for folks who feel at home in the wild or at least want to pretend they do on Instagram. Riley calls it a toast to his Southern roots. If it doesn’t come with a camouflage koozie and a mud-splatter filter, I’ll be shocked.

Bunnie Xo had to turn herself in to jail… and she’s treating it like a red-carpet event. On her “Dumb Blonde” podcast, she said she’s showing up fully glammed and vlogging the whole thing. Turns out she forgot about a 2020 ticket in Alabama, got pulled over, found out her license was suspended, paid it, thought it was fixed… and then got pulled over again. The officer said it was an arrestable offense but gave her a week to self-surrender. Bunnie joked that her old mugshots were rough, so this time she's giving them the full glam squad special.

Lainey Wilson told Country Southern Living that she keeps her family tight because they’re the only people who keep her grounded. She said she can’t be “Lainey the artist” without being Lainey the sister, the daughter, the friend. Basically: fame is great, but Mama Wilson will still snatch that hat off her head if she gets too big for her britches.

Eddie Murphy just revealed his three biggest “I should’ve done that” movie regrets: Ghostbusters, Rush Hour, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Those were all supposed to have Eddie in them. He picked Beverly Hills Cop over Ghostbusters, thought Roger Rabbit sounded ridiculous, and skipped Rush Hour. He said he passed, watched them blow up, and went, “Well… oops.” At least he’s honest about it.

Bill Belichick’s family drama is hotter than the Patriots’ sideline heaters. His daughter-in-law Jen reportedly confronted his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson in his office after a UNC game. Sources say it got nasty Jen allegedly called Jordon “bat*** crazy,” dragged her outfit, dragged her body, and told her to “eat a burger.” The showdown lasted 40 minutes. At this point, Belichick might need a coaching staff just to manage his relationships.
