The 2025 CMT Awards show has been canceled by its parent company Paramount Global. They are merging with Skydance Media and the deal won't be completed for another couple months. Officially the show is on a "pause" and they will re-evaluate for next year.

Aaron Rodgers will not return to the New York Jets next season. The 41-year-old quarterback will be a free agent in exactly 31 days who is eligible to sign with any team in the NFL. The organization informed him of its decision after he flew to New Jersey to meet with the organization last week.
