Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem are going to play Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in a movie for Amazon studios called “Being The Ricardos’ …What does Keith Urban think about the roll? “It’s a really extraordinary roll and it’s an extraordinary script Aron Sorkin has written beyond on this, it’s just amazing stuff.  She’s loving doing it and it’s an amazing cast, so props to everybody making these things happen at this time.”

Rolling Stone reports a tribute concert is being held for ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. It will take place at the Grand Ole Opry and will feature Eric Church, Brad Paisley, and Travis Tritt, among others. It will double as a benefit for military, veterans, and first-responder charities, including the USO and the First Responders Children’s Foundation…The concert will be filmed for an upcoming TV special; additional details are forthcoming.

Director James Cameron stopped by to talk to  Jimmy Fallon about Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 “We just try to be true to what people loved about the first film and take into whole new area.  A lot of our scenes are in the ocean and so I’m combining things I love.  Like making Avatar and going into the ocean, I love that stuff.” Avatar 2 is scheduled to hit theaters December of next year, and Avatar 3 December of 2024. They are being shot simultaneously with two additional sequels intended to start shooting as soon as the first two wrap with release dates in 2026  and 2028.

Luke Bryan had to take some time off from American idol because he came down with Corona…and the update on how he’s doing? “You know what, I’m feeling great it was um…I had two or three days, it was really really, it was tough.  I went to a whole different section of the house, I didn’t see the boys for ten days.  But, I’m feeling great, just a little fatigue.  I’m just really happy to be back, doing idol I was heart broke to miss last week.“ Paula Abdul filled in for Luke while he was gone.

Thomas Rhett has a special message for YOU all of his fans “Good morning everybody, we’re just sitting here eating some cereal and I was reflecting on the last couple of days and how just incredible they’ve been. With the ACM’s and just ya’ll’s response to this new music we’ve been putting out has been completely overwhelming.  So, I just wanted to give a big shout out to Country radio.  Thank you so much for believing in this song.  The record comes out in just a couple weeks, looking forward to it.  Hope you have a fantastic day.” His new double album ‘Country Again’ Side A comes out April 30^th with Side B out later this year.

The Buzz around Hollywood is that Sylvester Stallone released some big news regarding the Rocky franchise. In an Instagram post, he revealed he has shot a full-length behind-the-scenes documentary while working on the director's cut of Rocky IV. He also revealed the new name for the fourth Rocky film. It will be called. ROCKY VS DRAGO - The ultimate directors cut.  Stallone has been working on the film since last year. This news comes shortly after it was announced that the 74-year-old actor will not be in Creed III.

The Falcon and Winter Soldier Sebastian Stan wants to play a WWE icon for his next role. He spoke to Collider and said he would love to play Ric Flair in a movie.  If Stan were to play Flair, he would be the second member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to play a WWE Hall of Famer as Chris Hemsworth is getting in shape to play Hulk Hogan.

Thomas Rhett got emotional while performing for frontline workers at the ACM Awards ... "It almost made me cry, honestly, looking up into those stands and seeing people that are putting their health and their lives just on the line and getting to give them live music for the first time in a long time was one of the most special things I've gotten to do in a minute.” His wife Lauren just graduated from Tennessee with a nursing degree recently. So it was extra special for him to bring live music to people doing what his wife has worked so hard to achieve as a career.

Kate Winslet dishes on "Avatar 2" .. She says reuniting with "Titanic" director James Cameron was "amazing." What make her MOST proud? “I play a reef person, so I spent most of my time in the water.  It’s been widely talked about, I believe, that I learnt how to hold my breath for seven minutes which is completely true and I’m VERY proud of that.” She beat Tom Cruises time from Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation were he held his breath for six minutes.  "Avatar 2" is tentatively scheduled to be released in December of 2022.

Uproxx says Vin Diesel is going to star in a new Rock'Em Sock'Em Robots movie. He will play a father, who develops an unlikely bond with an advanced war robot.

Stand By…TV Insider says Tom Bergeron may be returning as the host of ''Dancing With the Stars''. He posted a video from ''The Godfather Part 3'' along with the caption: “Just when I thought I was out… they pull me back in. Stay tuned…”

Congratulations to all of last nights ACM winners, the big winners of the night Female Artist of the Year Maren Morris, Male Artist of the Year Thomas Rhett and the big one Entertainer of the Year went to an obviously blindsided Luke Bryan who video chatted from L.A. “I go on stage every night, trying to be the best entertainer I can be.  Trying to make every body in the crowd in the room sing and love one another, have fun.  So, anytime the ACM’s recognizes me for that, it’s a dream come true.”

Gabby Barrett last night to performed her No. 1 single, "The Good Ones," from Nashville's Bluebird Cafe.  Taking home the ACM New Female Artist of the Year award.  She got the news of her award ahead of Sunday night's show and celebrated the news in a decidedly lowkey way…after getting the news she went back and changed a dirty diaper from Baylah May who was born in January.  She’s getting ready to tour this August in support of Thomas Rhett's Center Point Road Tour.

Alma Wahlberg, mother of actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, and a regular on the reality show “Wahlburgers,” has passed.  The news was shared on social media on Sunday by both Mark and Donnie on Instagram.  The Boston-born mother of nine became a household name thanks to her appearances on the A&E series “Wahlburgers,” about the family’s burgeoning burger chain…she was 78.

Are there changes coming to The Voice…again??  After being the resident country coach for 20 seasons is Blake thinking about moving on?  Fans seem to think so. Speculation has been swirling since an interview he did with Hoda Kotb on the TODAY show this month, when he admitted he hoped to leave the entertainment business behind and live a simple life with Gwen. When asked if he saw that happening in about 10 years, he said he’d like to see it sooner than later. The Voice airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC

We’ve had an incredible journey, been incredibly blessed, but to be nominated, it just feels great every year. It’s a huge honor. Very humbling.”

 And Lady A are also up for ACM Vocal Group of the Year “This category is just, dare I say, one of the most competitive. And also, they’re some of the most incredibly kind, closest friends in the industry. And so, it’s always really, really special to be included.” The ACM’s are this Sunday on CBS

 As you’ve heard by now, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez broke up yesterday.  Saying they realize they are better as friends.  Lopez has been engaged five times; three of those ended up in marriage…and is keeping the rings….looking a little like a superbowl champion…

Cher is allegedly thinking about getting more plastic surgery to celebrate her 75th birthday in May…at this point is she gets anymore work done you can start throwing her kibbles….

Award season is in the air and everyone is talking about the ACM Awards…Looking forward to some exciting performances, history making events and Eric Church, he’s going as the reigning CMA Entertainer of the year “I felt a responsibility, I know what that award means to the format; I know what that means historically, and I tried to live up to that. That nomination means more to me now than it probably ever has, because we’ve won. ”

Carly Pearce is nominated for the ACM  Female Artist of the Year Award...and she talks about her feelings on it. "I think about the dreams that I’ve had of being nominated in this category. I think as a woman in country music, if you grew up the way that I did, wanting this so badly, you dreamt of your name being called in that. And so I truly am not just saying this. I feel like I’ve already won just being in those five.” The ACM Awards air this Sunday on CBS

Kyra Sedgwick says her husband Kevin Bacon is so handy around the house..so, why not ask him to help with a bikini wax… “There was a moment were I thought, I can’t pull the strip off, neither one of us could figure out how to pull it off do we need to go to the hospital.  I didn’t have to luckily, just the 1..2..3..and hope for the best.” If it involves a car, boat, the lawn or hammering a nail…were fine ladies…but nothing to do with hot wax please.

On Monday night's episode of American Idol, viewers were shocked to learn that Wyatt Pike dropped out of the competition after making it into the Top 16. Host Ryan Seacrest announced the news on the broadcast, but he did not reveal any details about Pike's sudden departure. As Deadline noted, Pike has since spoken out about the reason behind his American Idol exit on his Instagram saying only that he left for “personal reasons”

Today we start with Jake Owen and his musical influences.  He talks about how his brother introduced him to a lot of different music when he was a kid. ”He was introducing me to everybody…from Depeche Mode, Def Leppard, Van Halen.  All the way to Run DMC, everything all over the map really, Otis Redding I remember him playing for me. So, he really is responsible for allowing me hearing music that I would have never heard from my parents.” But, Jake stopped on country music and the rest his history.

Morgan Wallen broke his silence since he was caught saying the "N-word" on camera. The country music singer has remained silent up until Tuesday when he posted several photos of a hand-written letter to his fans. He started off by acknowledging the unexpected success of his music, and then addressed the elephant in the room, while also noting that he will not be performing this summer. Idris Elba talks about him playing James Bond ... He says his mother thinks he’ll get the part but he’s focused on music and "The Suicide Squad" right now. “I’m definitely doing that, the Suicide Squad is coming out this year, that’s a great look.  I’m really excited about that.” The Suicide Squad hits theaters and HBO Max August 6^th of this year.

Entertainment Tonight says the cast of ''ER'' is reuniting for a reunion episode on Thursday, April 22nd. The reunion is going to benefit Waterkeeper Alliance, an organization that works to ensure every community has drinkable, fishable and swimmable water.. George Clooney, Julianna Margulies, Noah Wyle, Anthony Edwards and other cast members will take part in the reunion
