The List for Thursday, July 29th 2021

Welcome to The List,

We all have our country music hero’s…the ones that the moment they release a CD or even a song to stream on-line no matter WHAT it is we’re right there ..Miranda Lambert is no different I loved from Patti Loveless to Faith (Hill), Shania (Twain), Sara Evans. Then also the pop side, you know, Beyoncé, Destiny’s Child. I was loving people that had something different, that did something a little bit different”.  She says those aren’t necessarily my musical influences of course, but they’re influences to me as far as what they did later on in their careers versus when they started.

Luke Bryan is STILL looking for the perfect wedding gifts for Blake and Gwen…it’s on going and doesn’t look like it’s going to stop any time soon “It will be many many gifts in a big package, I’m just havin to get out there and go searching but ah…yeah, it’ll be like ‘Mullet Stimulator’ or something for Blake.  Probably gonna have to send Gwen some glasses.”

Sad news to report, ZZ Top Bassist Dusty Hill passed away in his sleep just days after taking a leave of absence because of a hip issue at his home in Texas AND Infomercial King Ron Popeil has passed the man who created the Pocket Fisherman and Hair in a Can, ‘The Bedazzler and the Chop O Matic and catch phrases like “But wait there’s more” and “Set it and forget it’  Ron was worth $200 million at the time of his death he was 86

US Weekly Magazine claims Alex Rodriguez loves being single now that he and Jennifer Lopez have broken up. A source tells the magazine, “A-Rod is living his best single life. He’s really enjoying [being] a bachelor. Meanwhile Kim Kardashian is STILL looking for someone that will date HER.

It seems to be a trend these days to have celebrity biopics, so it should come as no shock that Mark Wahlberg would be up for a biopic of his own. While the 50-year-old may not have one just yet, but, if a biopic does take place, the Ted star already knows who he would want to play him on screen Tom Holland…yep, Spider-Man…I KNEW Mark was a Marvel fan!!

The List for Wednesday, July 28th 2021

Welcome to The List,

Thomas Rhett may be one of country music's biggest stars, but his biggest fears are probably pretty similar to yours mentioning that some of his phobias are a bit "strange." But one that I can relate to!! Spiders! He doesn’t like spiders and roaches…you can keep those too. Something that I wouldn’t have thought, was that he doesn’t like to be in the dark by himself. He usually sleeps with the TV on when sleeping by himself." All in all, not that strange or uncommon

People love country music for different reasons…Cole Swindell of course loves country music, he makes a living with it but beyond THAT.. “Because it tells a story it makes you feel something whether it’s a fun song getting you through a good time or a sad song getting you through a bad time it always makes me feel something that’s why I love country music.”

Matt Damon  talks about letting Ben Affleck crash on his couch being the inspiration for ‘Good Will Hunting” “Instantly became untenable, all of his stuff in our living room.  We Were like, we gotta change this.  I think that’s what made us work so hard on the screenplay, we had to get out of that apartment.” Matt has a new movie ‘Stillwater’ in theaters Friday.

Bob Odenkirk has been hospitalized. The 58-year-old actor collapsed on the set of Better Call Saul and was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday. Odenkirk remains under medical care. No further update on his condition was shared.  Odenkirk was filming on the Sony Lot in Culver City, California, when he fell and crew members called the ambulance, per TMZ who was first to report the news. Odenkirk is currently shooting the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul.

The List for Tuesday, July 27th 2021

Welcome to The List,

Justin Moore really loves his new song "We Didn't Have Much" ... "I thought that the song really expressed the beauty that is leading a more simple life. Growing up in rural Poyen Arkansas and close to his family, the song really hits home and feels many people relate to it.

He’s tired of it and Brantley Gilbert says just when you think it’s gone ’Baby Shark’ makes a comeback...his one year old picked it up and started singing it…"So then, you know, that’s cute all over again. So it’s like, okay, I’m not mad about it. I want to know who wrote that and who has the publishin’ on ‘Baby Shark.’” He ‘gets it’…

Disney’s "Jungle Cruise" is in theaters and streaming on Disney+ on Friday. The Rock talks about Walt Disney being the first skipper on the Jungle Cruise ride that the movie is based on. “He surprised the guests at that time, and it was very cool, so here we are years later turning this iconic Disney ride into a movie for families around the world to enjoy.”

One of the more shocking events at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics happened on Tuesday when reigning Olympic champion Simone Biles pulled out of the team final due to a "medical issue," USA Gymnastics announced. Biles huddled with her trainer after landing her vault and then exited the competition with her team doctor. Several minutes later, Biles embraced her teammates before putting on her warm-up gear.

The Simpsons is going to air their first all-musical episode on September 26th on Fox. Kristen Bell will do Marge's singing voice.
