Six-time Grammy-award-winning country superstar Kacey Musgraves is breaking her silence on her latest album being ruled as ineligible for the 2022 Grammy season. Musgraves is being left out of the GRAMMY Awards' best country album category. Declaring that her ‘Star-Crossed’ album is not eligible in the country category. Instead, the album is eligible for best Pop Vocal Album.

Adele has made her return to music as official as it gets, announcing a two-hour TV special that will feature music from her new album and an interview with Oprah Winfrey. The special, called Adele One Night Only, will air on CBS on Sunday, Nov. 14, five days before the release of her highly anticipated fourth album 30. OK! magazine says one of Jason Aldean's tour buses was involved in a wreck on a West Virginia highway yesterday outside of Charleston. The bus was carrying equipment and blocked all, but one lane of traffic. Jason was not on the bus

I honestly don't think I'd be where I am without his music." And of course, Garth Brooks presented the Artist Of A Lifetime Award to Randy Travis last night. “Artists like this guy only come along once in a lifetime, I know if you’re like me you pray that another Randy Travis shows up every day.. Other winners for CMT Artist of the Year, were Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini and Breakout Artist of the Year went to Mickey Guyton.

Country band Rascal Flatts announced at the beginning of 2020 that they were breaking up and going on a farewell Life is a Highway tour. Unfortunately, the pandemic derailed those tour plans, leaving their ending as a band rather open-ended. Gary LeVox giving an interview to PEOPLE expressing his own frustration over how the band ended. Saying in part, “I wasn't happy that Joe Don [Rooney] quit, It kinda came out of nowhere” and then the Pandemic cancelled everything…I just hate the way it ended.”
