What part of the body is impossible to keep open when you sneeze?

Welcome to The List,
Motley Crue’s Vince Neil dropped a bombshell he had a stroke last Christmas. That’s why their Vegas shows got canned. Quote, “My whole left side went out.” He had to re-learn how to walk. Rock ‘n roll is tough, but that’s next level hardcore.
-----
From tattoos to the Vatican Jelly Roll met the Pope! He posted a pic with the caption: “From rock bottom to holy ground.” Then performed at St. Peter’s Square with Jennifer Hudson and Andrea Bocelli. I mean, if that’s not a glow-up, what is?
-----
Nate Bargatze promised shorter Emmy speeches. Guess what? Yeah… nope. The show still dragged on forever. Big winners? “The Studio” and “The Pitt.” But honestly, I was watching football.
-----
Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes are done after three years. A source says, “They gave it their all, but it just didn’t work.”
You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1

Welcome to The List,
Brought to you by The Zearing Bar, right down on main street in Zearing. Where Friends and neighbors meet…

Lainey Wilson’s southern twang is so strong, it could strip paint off a barn. She says during a recent audition, the casting people asked her to “lose the accent.” And she goes, “I’ll need a professional speech therapist because this voice ain’t going anywhere.” Luckily, most roles don’t care. Still, I’d pay good money to hear Lainey Wilson try to sound like she’s from New Jersey.
-----
Taylor Swift might be getting her man full-time! Word is Travis Kelce is planning to retire from football after this season to start a family with Taylor. Sources say he’s ready to hang up the helmet, even though he’s got options in TV and plenty in life. So, he’s going from NFL Sundays to diaper duty Mondays.
-----
Zach Top and Shaboozey are up for CMA New Artist of the Year again. Yep, you can apparently be “new” twice, as long as you don’t actually win anything the first time. So congratulations to both of them for being brand-new… two years in a row.

Pro wrestling legend Jerry “The King” Lawler is recovering after suffering a stroke. The guy’s a Hall of Famer, he’s wrestled everybody from Hulk Hogan to Andy Kaufman, and he’ll be turning 76 in November. Wishing The King nothing but health as he keeps fighting.

Welcome to The List,
Lainey Wilson on Family Feud
Lainey Wilson is on Celebrity Family Feud tonight, and ABC already dropped a teaser. Steve Harvey asked her, “Name a Britney Spears song that describes you in the bedroom.” Without missing a beat, Lainey fired back: “Hit me, baby, one more time.” And just like that, Steve Harvey’s mustache curled itself into witness protection.

Luke Combs’ son turns 2
Luke Combs threw his son Beau a second birthday party, and this kid is already cooler than all of us. The theme? Alan Jackson’s Chatta-TWO-chee. Yeah, TWO. There was a photo booth, fishing boat décor, themed cookies, and even a seashell birthday cake. Meanwhile, my last birthday party theme was “frozen pizza and Jack.”

Hulk Hogan’s estate drama
Hulk Hogan’s estate is worth about five million bucks, and the sole beneficiary is his son Nick. His daughter Brooke? Nope she ASKED to be cut out years ago because she didn’t trust Hulk’s crew. Add in a widow, two Florida mansions worth eleven million, and the threat of a wrongful death lawsuit, and brother this is less “Hulkamania” and more Judge Judy: The Deluxe Edition.

Emmy viewership shocker
The Emmys are Sunday, and surprise: the most-watched nominated show wasn’t The White Lotus or Abbott Elementary. Nope, it was Survivor! 462 million hours. Which is insane, because half of us didn’t even realize the show was still on. Followed by White Lotus and Only Murders in the Building proof that apparently everyone’s still willing to watch strangers eat bugs on an island, but not you quietly crying into your Apple TV subscription.
