The NFL found a day where there was no football, and they remedied that situation....Beginning next year, there will be a game on Black Friday . . . the day after Thanksgiving . . . on Amazon Prime. That's good for Amazon, since "Thursday Night Football" doesn't happen on Thanksgiving.  CBS and Fox have a lock on Turkey Day games.  So Amazon still gets to participate over Thanksgiving weekend . . . which, as a bonus, is also the kickoff to the holiday shopping season.

CMT's "Hot 20 Countdown" had country stars ask questions of each other.  Cody Johnson asked Luke Combs how fatherhood is going, "Being a dad's awesome.  It's super fun.  It can be stressful at times, but a lot more good than bad, for sure.  It's been really fun." Luke's son Tex is four months old today.  He was born on Father's Day.

The NY Post says Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow outfit from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies is one of this year's hottest Halloween costumes. The costume has seen a 90% increase in sales since Depp won his defamation trial against Amber Heard. High quality replicas of the costume sell for as much as $399.

Tis the season in October.. The first teaser for the "Christmas Story" sequel is here . . . but it doesn't seem to include any new footage . . . just an extreme closeup of Peter Billingsley, as the adult Ralphie, putting on his glasses.  The movie is called "A Christmas Story Christmas", and it hits HBO Max on November 17th.

James Corden is he as sweet and gentle as he seems on TV?  There's at least one guy who doesn't think so.  His name is Keith McNally, and he owns a restaurant called Balthazar in New York City. And yesterday, he posted on Instagram that he's BANNING Corden because he's, quote, "a tiny cretin of a man" and "the most abusive customer to my servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago."   No word yet from Corden.. if he’s so bad, why did it take 25 years.

Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany may never settle their beef with Maren Morris.  Why should they when both sides seem to be having a blast trolling each other.  Jason at his show on Friday in Nashville, told the crowd he might bring up a special guest.   I could call Luke Bryan.  I could call Kane Brown.  See if Kenny Chesney's here and not at the beach."  The crowd cheered after each name.  But when he said Maren Morris' name they started booing.

Radar Online says Kelsea Ballerini is allegedly looking to date a sophisticated man following her split from her husband, Morgan Evans. A source tells the website. She wants a metropolitan type who’s a fashionable dresser, smells nice, and drives a cool car. Kelsea is looking to link up with a guy who can help raise her profile.”

Shania Twain will be playing Mrs. Potts in the live-action version of "Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration", which airs December 15th on ABC.  She shared the news on Instagram, saying she's "honored and excited" . . . and paid tribute to the late Angela Lansbury, who was the voice of Mrs. Potts in the movie.

Uproxx says a sequel to the 1996 movie ''Twister'' is in development. It's called ''Twisters''. No word on if Helen Hunt is going to star in the fil and  eBay is removing Jeffrey Dahmer Halloween costumes from their website. The company says they prohibit sales of items that glorify hate, violence and criminal activities. Scores of Dahmer eyeglasses are no longer for sale.

Sadly, Robbie Coltrane, who played the giant Hagrid in the "Harry Potter" movies, died Friday.  There's no word on the cause of death, but he had reportedly been ill for the past few years. He was 72.

Carrie Underwood kicked off her "Denim & Rhinestones" tour on Saturday with a 24-song setlist.  She even brought out a glittery drum set and did a solo on "Poor Everybody Else".  Carrie also covered Guns N' Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle".

Marvel fans have wondered who is going to replace William Hurt as General “Thunderbolt” Ross because he passed earlier this year.  Well, it’s unofficial but it looks like Harrison Ford has been tapped to replace Hurt at the General.  Several sources claim Ford will play Ross in "Captain America: New World Order", and then "Thunderbolts", where he oversees an anti-hero team sort of like the "Suicide Squad". In the comics, Thunderbolt Ross becomes a character called Red Hulk . . . but there's no word if that's happening in the MCU.

Thomas Rhett and Katy Perry are announcing something, but what could it be?  They posted a photo of their silhouettes with tomorrow's date.  They already have a duet together with "Where We Started", so maybe it could be a music video.  Or a brand new song.

Florida Georgia Line is coming out with their first greatest hits album.  It'll have over 18 songs, including three new songs.  It comes out November 9th, but there's an exclusive vinyl at Target that comes out October 28th.  Try not to get too excited though, the band is still on hiatus.

If you’re a fan of ‘The Conners’,  Billboard magazine says Jimmie Allen is going to guest star but his role is being kept a secret….and lastly Halloween Ends did well over the weekend although it didn’t make as much as the first two original movies….

One of the funniest comedy franchises of all time is getting a reboot.  A new "Naked Gun" movie is in the works, starring Liam Neeson. That's an interesting choice, because his name is so similar to the star of the original movies, Leslie Nielsen.  And, just like Leslie, Neeson goes into it having been known primarily for serious roles. This isn't official, but there's word that Neeson will play the SON of Leslie Nielsen's character, Lieutenant Frank Drebin. I want to know who’s going to play Nordberg…if you know…you know….

Maren Morris tells ABC that she doesn't want her son becoming a musician. “As a parent, you support any of their dreams. But my husband and I are like, ‘please don’t end up in the music industry!’ We joke that we want him to be, like, an accountant.”   Does she really not like what she does that much?
