Gene Simmons is hitting up the famous Abbey Road studio in England and he's Inviting fans to join him. On July 10th, fans will be able to spend the day with Gene and record a KISS song with him.  No musical experience is necessary.  you can bring one guest with you. You'll also be gifted with items from Gene's personal KISS collection, take photos and videos with him, and he'll sign two of your personal items. It costs $5,995…no word on if that includes air fair and accommodations…but it’s Gene Simmons…

I think we've all regretted buying some piece of clothing at one time or another.  Carrie Underwood posted a video of herself wearing a pair of what she called "noisy britches". They're shiny black leggings, and they're very tight.  When she walks, they crinkle and squeak, and that's all you can focus on. Kinda like the old corduroy pants with the right friction you could start a fire.

A Melbourne, Australia restaurant recently refused to serve Russell Crowe and his girlfriend because they were dressed in stinky gym clothes. The owner says, ''We treat everyone the same. It doesn't matter who you are or if you are Russell Crowe. We've got a dress code that we push across every level. So whoever it is, it stays the same.

Does every Canadian singer know each other?  Probably not, but give them time.  Tenille Townes met Bryan Adams in a Vancouver staircase last summer.  It was a short talk, but it gave her the courage to send him a song, hoping he'd record it with her.  It's called, "The Thing That Wrecks You", and you can stream it now.

Jimmie Allen shared a cryptic message on Twitter that had people thinking he was quitting the business.  Quote, "I came to you in 2007 chasing this music dream.  Thank you for the memories.  It's time to move on now, but I'll be back to visit for sure." Turns out, he's just moving to Florida.

Fans are starting to speculate that another "Wayne's World" sequel could be on the way after seeing a recent post from Dana Carvey.  He posted a photo of himself and Mike Myers as Wayne and Garth.  Back in 2021 they did get in costume for a Super Bowl ad for Uber Eats.  So this could (potentially) just be a throwback photo . . . or maybe another commercial…our fingers are crossed…

Last year HBO Max announced it was developing an "It" prequel series.  Well, it's OFFICIALLY moving forward. It's called "Welcome to Derry", and the director of the 2017 and 2019 "It" movies is returning to "expand the vision" of those movies.   Still no word if Bill Skarsgard will return as Pennywise. Stephen King gave the series his blessing.

Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini are returning to co-host this year's "CMT Music Awards".  It's their second year in a row hosting together.  The show is going down April 2nd in Austin, Texas . . . and it'll air live on CBS..

Warner Bros. Pictures is revamping the “Lord of the Rings” film franchise.  newly installed studio leaders have brokered a deal to make “multiple” films based on the beloved J. R. R. Tolkien books.  No filmmakers have been attached yet to the projects that are being called “The Middle-Earth Enterprises”.

Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs, Country Digital Song Sales, Country Albums, and Country Airplay.  Luke Combs was the last person to do it, four years ago. Morgan's new album, "One Thing at a Time", comes out March 3rd.

On the most recent episode of "The Last of Us", there's a scene where two characters are crossing a bridge.  And during a wide overhead shot, you can clearly see a film crew off to the side. Someone posted video on TikTok.

Brad Paisley has just scored a new record deal with Universal Nashville.  The terms weren't released, but it'll kick off with his next album, which is expected to come out later this year.  The first single, "Same Here", will be out tomorrow.

Country music legend Reba McEntire is joining The Voice Season 23. She will serve as the "mega mentor" of the season, helping out the new contestants. It is McEntire's first time on the show since Season 1, back in 2011. NBC also announced new tweaks to the show's format ahead of the Monday, March 6 premiere.

Kelsea Ballerini's ex-husband Morgan Evans has openly slammed his former spouse's public statements about their divorce. In a post on Instagram, saying amongst other things….I'm not the type of guy to speak on those things publicly."…while he speaks publicly about it..  Kelsea Ballerini is using her art to express herself, Whiskey Riff  was first to point out that the song lyrics from Ballerini's new EP, Rolling Up the Welcome Mat, seem to be directly about her and Evans' marriage falling apart.

TMZ says the Academy Awards has created a crisis team in order to deal with any distractions or brawls like last year's fight between Will Smith and Chris Rock. The Academy says "We've run many scenarios. It’s our hope that we’ll be prepared for anything that we may not anticipate right now but that we’re planning for just in case it does happen."…I can just see 6 oompa Loompa running out saying “are you ok?  are you ok?”

Fox News says 'Starsky And Hutch', which aired from 1975-1979, will soon be rebooted on Fox. The showrunners say that many of the male leads from the original show will now be played by women. The show will follow Sasha Starsky and Nicole Hutchinson as they solve crimes in Desert City…You know…it was really all about the car anyway…

Straying from the country side for a moment…Fans of glam rock are in luck – Mr. Big is moving forward with plans for a reunion tour in 2023. The ‘To Be With You’ band has been promising a comeback for years, especially after the tragic death of original drummer Pat Torpey in 2018. Now, frontman Eric Martin says that they are ready to hit the road and honor their late friend.

Cobra Kai fans are in an emotional quandary right now as they wait for Season 6 to premiere on Netflix. Last month, Netflix officially announced that Season 6 was in the works, but also that it would be the final season of the show.  Cobra Kai has become one of the most popular Netflix original series in the entire catalog, and six seasons is a pretty good run by the streamer's standards.

Blake Shelton is allegedly "miserable" in his marriage to Gwen Stefani. According to Radar Online, the pair were spotted not having a good time at NASCAR's Busch Light Clash.  Stefani spent part of the event doing commentary for Fox. Later, however, sources claimed that the singer and her country star husband appeared unhappy…I would probably say ‘bored’…Do the cars get above 50 miles per hour in that small space?

Alan Jackson's CMT disorder won't be keeping him out of the studio.  During an interview on his daughter Mattie's "In-Joy Life" podcast he said he doesn't tour much, but the "creative part jumps out now and then" . . . and he feels like there WILL be new music on the way.

Jo Dee Messina is on tour right now, and as an ode to her 1996 hit, it's called the "Heads Carolina, Tails California" tour.  It kicked off in North Carolina last week and will wrap up in California in November with a stop at Tailgates N’ Tallboys in Clinton Iowa June 9th.  She's also releasing a greatest hits album next month.
