Lee Greenwood has written a letter to Maren Morris asking her to reconsider her decision to quit country music. He wrote, "To suggest that country music is 'too patriotic' is to not understand country music at all. It's in our very name: Country music. Our music is written for love of our country, our heart for America. It's not that politics has infiltrated country music, it's quite the opposite — music ends up reflecting the very conversations happening across the country today."

Tom Brady thinks NFL football as we know it will eventually turn into flag football over time because the refs are calling too many penalties. He says, quote, "You throw a 15-yard flag for something that, you know, 20 years ago maybe wouldn't have had a flag. That affects the game in a big way." Quote, "There's so many people that want it less and less physical, it's more like flag football, which is going to be in the Olympics in 2028. Maybe football goes to flag football over a period of time."

NBC says prosecutors are planning to recharge Alec Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the 2021 shooting on the set of his movie, "Rust." The forthcoming charges will be brought before a grand jury next month. Alec insists that he did not pull the trigger of the gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Sources say a possible plea deal may be in the works.

Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning may be the next long-term co-hosts for the CMA Awards. Luke told "Good Morning America" they did such a good job last year that they were asked to come back "while walking off stage."

Well, can’t wait for this one to hit theaters…Chuck Norris can cure a zombie by biting it. I don't know if that was ever an official Chuck Norris Fact, but it might be soon. Because someone was FINALLY smart enough to put Chuck in a zombie movie. It's called "Zombie Plane", and Chuck will actually be playing HIMSELF. So will Vanilla Ice. In the movie, the government has trained celebrities to be undercover agents . . . which explains Vanilla Ice being able to kick zombie butt. Obviously, there was never any doubt about Chuck. There's no word when we'll be able to bask in the glow of its cinematic brilliance.

Flag football will be an Olympic sport at the 2028 games in Los Angeles. There will be men's and women's divisions. Squash is also being added, while cricket, lacrosse, baseball, and softball will make their returns.

"Top Gun" is now a reality show. "Top Gun: The Next Generation" is coming to Nat Geo, but a premiere date hasn't been announced yet. The show will follow Navy student pilots "every step of the way" during training, as they embark on, quote, "some of the most challenging flight tests possible, including landing on an aircraft carrier at sea." This will reportedly be the first time this level of access has been given to the pilot training program.

Blake Shelton assisted his wife Gwen Stefani in collecting items from their farm to decorate their porch for fall. They shared a video of them using white homegrown pumpkins, corn stalks, flowers, and leaves. Blake also said hi to Gwen's fellow "The Voice" coaches. Quote, "Niall [Horan], Reba [McEntire], and John [Legend], y'all need to come out here and do some country stuff . . . Reba!"

We start with sad news today, no doubt you’ve already heard there are Three deaths to report Suzanne Somers from "Three's Company", Piper Laurie from "Carrie", and Mark Goddard from the original "Lost in Space" TV series. Piper Laurie is best known for playing the crazy religious nut Margaret White in the 1976 horror classic "Carrie" she was 91…Mark Goddard passed away last Tuesday due to pulmonary fibrosis Goddard played Major Don West on the "Lost in Space" TV series in the 1960s. He was 87.

Hardy returned to the stage last Thursday after taking a week off to focus on his mental health. He canceled two shows earlier this month and postponed another and was upfront about why. He said he's been dealing with a ton of anxiety ever since his tour bus crash last year. He announced the cancelations on October 3rd, a year and a day after the crash where he and four others were seriously hurt. He stopped the show to address it at one point and got pretty emotional. He thanked fans for having his back the past couple weeks, and said he's never felt more supported in his whole life. VIDEO

Toby Keith made a surprise appearance at Jason Aldean's show in Oklahoma on Friday. He told the crowd that the "Almighty's been riding shotgun" with him, and he's ready to go back to work. And then he and Jason sang "Should've Been a Cowboy".

Given that Tom Cruise is one of the biggest action movie stars in history, you'd think there'd be toys and action figures based on his characters all over the place. But there aren't. And there's a reason for that. Tom supposedly has a clause in his movie contracts that says his likeness CAN'T be used to create merchandise . . . including toys and video games. In fact, in the "Minority Report" video game, the main character was given blonde hair, much shorter than Tom's in the movie, in order to avoid any similarity…I didn’t think you could GET shorter than Tom…

Jada Pinkett Smith tells The Times newspaper that she thinks she and Will Smith will live together again while it’s reported that Jaden and Willow Smith are relieved that their parents have revealed their separation. Chris Rock just wants Jada to stop talking about him! Jada has been discussing their past, including Chris asking her out while she was married to Will Smith. A source tells the newspaper, "Chris is over it and would love for her to keep his name out of her mouth.

Parker McCollum announced the dates of his Burn It Down Tour 2024. It kicks off January 18th in Spokane, Washington . . . with a stop in Des Moines June 27th and runs into late August. Corey Kent, Larry Fleet, George Birge, and Catie Offerman will be opening select shows.

Apparently, some movie theaters tried to have a last minute advance screening of “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” and it didn’t go well. Multiple sources say theaters were NOT happy with having to prepare for potential mass demand with so little advance notice. The irony is, the demand probably wasn't all that great. Due to the last-minute call for the advance screenings, theaters were reporting weak crowds.

America’s Got Talent: Extreme is being sued by a contestant who got injured during the practice session of his stunt for the show. The stunt involved two cars exploding in mid-air and HE got smashed between them and fell 20 feet to the ground. He survived and is now suing NBC saying the network and the show's producers kept encouraging contestants to perform bigger and more dangerous stunts, while cutting corners on safety to save money. And it nearly cost him his life.

Tommy Davidson tells the Club Shay Shay podcast that Will Smith confronted him after an unplanned on-screen kiss with Jada Pinkett Smith in 1988. Saying "Will came into the trailer and he’s standing over me and he’s like, ‘I don’t appreciate that, man. I don’t appreciate that.’ And I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?’ And [he’s biting his lip like] he might do something."

Reba McEntire tells NBC that she is mad at Taylor Swift for dating Travis Kelce. "Oh, my gosh, I am so mad at her because I had a crush on him. Now I can't have a crush anymore because he's dating her. I was so devastated."
