The Sugar Bowl Country Kickoff with headliners Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Jon Pardi, and Ashley McBryde has been abruptly canceled.

It was supposed to take place August 31st to help launch the college football season. There wasn't much of an explanation either.  All Ticketmaster told fans was, quote, "Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event.
