Morgan Wallen's new bar just tried to get permission to put up a 20-foot neon sign with his name on it.  They were overwhelmingly rejected by the Nashville City Council on a vote of 30-3.

"Deadpool & Wolverine" set a record for the most first-day advance ticket sales for an R-Rated movie.  It sold over 200,000 tickets, for an estimated $8 million to $9 million. "Deadpool & Wolverine" hits theaters July 26th.

Life & Style Weekly says Jelly Roll has lost 70 pounds and aims to shed another 100. And Kenny Chesney brings an ice tube with him on tour.  He says it calms him down after a show.  Nothing like getting off stage and jumping right into it…

TMZ reports, there's now a criminal investigation into Matthew Perry's death.  The LAPD and the DEA are trying to figure out where he got the ketamine that killed him.

Lainey Wilson is no-frills and doesn't demand much backstage for her shows.  It's a pretty simple list, which goes to show how laid-back she is.  She says, "I don't have a lot on my rider . . . I ain't gonna be asking for a new toilet lid."  Congratulations to Lainey being invited to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry by Reba on ‘The Voice’ finale. If you’re interested her new bar ‘Bell Bottoms Up’ will open May 31^st.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer is eager to make two new Pirates of the Caribbean movies, with one possibly starring Margot Robbie. Bruckheimer is optimistic about Disney's interest even though ‘Depp’ fans are not. The last Pirates movie was made in 2017, but plans for a reboot are in the works.

At Morgan Wallen's concert at Metlife Stadium this past weekend, a fan held up a sign that said, "Morgan, can you draw my first tattoo?"  So, Morgan grabbed the sign and signed it, "Love ya . . . So does God."  And the fan already got the tattoo.

Over the weekend, Luke Combs played Levi's Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers.  And not surprisingly, he was joined by some special guests. Niners quarterback Brock Purdy and tight end George Kittle jumped onstage to pound beers with Luke during the song "1, 2 Many". Actually, from a video someone posted, it looks like Brock didn't drink anything.  He just had a 12-pack of Bud Light, and he was tossing them to Kittle, who was shot gunning them.

George Lucas had an 80th birthday party emceed by Steve Martin.  There were performances from Alicia Keys, Jon Batiste, and Don Henley.  The guest list included Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, and Oprah Winfrey.. as well as musicians playing music from "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones".

Page Six says Ben Affleck has allegedly realized his marriage to Jennifer Lopez is doomed. A source says, “If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would. He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”

Exciting news for NFL fans and “Swifties” alike…Taylor Swift was factored into the upcoming NFL season.  Her tour takes her to the stadiums where the Dolphins, Saints, and Colts play this fall, so the league had to make sure those teams were all on the road on those dates.

A lot of country stars were at the ACM Awards last week.  But noticeably, there were quite a few missing.  Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen are superstar status, and don't need to go to awards shows anyway . . . and Dolly and Garth co-hosted last year, but skipped this year.

The great Dabney Coleman has passed away.  He was 92.  His credits included "Tootsie", "9 to 5", "War Games", and the TV shows "Boardwalk Empire" and "Yellowstone".
