There was never going to be a “banana in the tailpipe” Eddie Murphy insisted on excluding his iconic  joke, from the original 'Beverly Hills Cop', in his new movie. 'Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F'.  He says, " Whenever we hit a little speed bump, and we needed a joke or something, the director said, ‘How about the banana in the tailpipe?’, ‘No, no, we can’t do it.

The investigation into the death of Richard Simmons has led to the conclusion that after he fell in his bathroom Friday night, and refused to see a doctor.  He went to bed instead, and was found dead the next morning.  There's still no word on the particular cause of death.

Miranda Lambert stopped her concert in Big Sky, Montana to scold a fan for not paying attention. She called out other fans for causing drama and emphasized the importance of respecting each other at her concerts. Critics were divided on her actions, with some supporting her and others feeling she should allow fans to enjoy her shows their way.

Nicolas Cage lives in Las Vegas, but he doesn't indulge.  He says, "If you really want to spiritually ascend, put yourself in the middle of Sin City and say no.  Say no to that whiskey on the rocks, say no to that strip club, say no to that casino." It was a rough weekend all the way around…in Hollywood..Richard Simmons passed away on Saturday which was a day AFTER his 76^th birthday…Shannen Doherty lost her battle with cancer on Saturday she was 53.  And Sex expert Dr. Ruth Westheimer passed on Friday SHE was 96…and THEN someone tried and failed to take out the Republican nominee for President Donald Trump…

TMZ says Billy Ray Cyrus' estranged wife, Firerose, has been ordered to stop using his credit cards. A judge ruled that she cannot access his American Express business account or any other credit card belonging to him or his business. Billy Ray has accused Firerose of making 37 unauthorized charges totaling nearly $97,000. Firerose says that she was allowed to use the cards and should continue spending his money for her expenses and legal fees.

Matthew McConaughey recently hinted at running for political office while speaking at the National Governors Association meeting in Salt Lake City. The star, known for "Dazed and Confused" and "True Detective," joked about his tequila brand with governors. McConaughey discussed promoting civility in politics and showed an interest in running for office without disclosing his party affiliation.

Shelley Duvall passed away at her home in Texas yesterday, due to complications from diabetes.  She was 75.  She's probably best known for co-starring in the classic horror movie "The Shining".
