Iowa’s Best Country, KIX 101.1, Central Office Supply, A division of Minuteman, along with generous employees at Lennox Industries in Marshalltown bring you the Holiday Edition of Pack the Backpack. Six area teachers will be awarded $101 dollars in December.
Winners will be announced on December 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17
th, 18th at 8:30a on the Morning Kix Start.
Our third winner for the Holiday Edition of Pack the Backpack is 6th grade teacher at Lenihan Intermediate Elementary in Marshalltown, Carrie Bohan. She was nominated by her husband, Mark Bohan, who is also a teacher. Here is the nomination letter:
Good afternoon,I know I’m biased, but Carrie Bohan teaches 6th grade and Lenihan Intermediate here in town. She consistently picks up things for kiddos that can’t afford supplies and does so without giving a second thought to doing so. She cares for her kids like they were her own and by the end of the year has a group she can be proud of. She’s in it for the right reasons and is the type of teacher you can be proud to have teaching your kids.
