Malie is a 1 year old Alaskan Malamute who came to the ARL as a stray. Malie is very energetic and needs an active family and room to roam. He is somewhat of an escape artist, so you will need a good plan in place on how to contain him from roaming.

Malie is shy at first. With reassurance and a gentle touch, he will become your loyal sidekick. Malie’s adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and various other treatments. If you are interested in Malie, please stop by the front desk or call 641-753-9046.

Currently the ARL is running a promotion “Dogs per pound” for every pound a dog it’s a $1.00 up to 125 pounds, so it’s a great time to adopt!!
