James and Sersi-2/16/2021

I talked to Jessica about

OUR KIX CRITTER (S) OF THE WEEK!!

James and Sersi are a bonded pair that’s always been together. They were adopted out from the shelter a while back but now they are finding themselves looking again for a forever home. They are both around 9 years old but still have a lot of love to give. They are good with calm dogs and even have a bunny friends from their past home. They are not the fondest of other cats but are willing to build a relationship as long as they get plenty of space. They are a very loving couple that deserves nothing but the best!

There adoption fee is $40 for the bonded pair and they will not

separate them. It does include their spay/neuter, a microchip, some

vaccinations and treatments.

Do you have a home they could retire in and live the good life or

perhaps a office? Or, do you know someone that sounds perfect for these two sweethearts? If you do please give the shelter a call to arrange a meet and greet! 641-753-9046. Anyone who has ever adopted older animals knows how much love they offer, please help  get these two into their forever home!

The List for Thursday, March 26th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Hookup shows come and go. Paychecks apparently stay forever. Taylor Frankie Paul will still get her full Bachelorette salary. TMZ says the payday lands in the low to mid six figures. The season got shelved after that viral domestic violence video resurfaced. Reality TV motto. Love fades. Direct deposit survives.

-----

Some guys jog. Some guys apparently brawl with neighbors. “Reacher” star Alan Ritchson reportedly got into a physical altercation. Sources say intense behavior is kind of his brand at this point. He doesn’t think he crossed a line. Neither does the authorities,

-----

Country star meets horsepower. This feels aggressively on brand. Darius Rucker is now a NASCAR Cup Series team owner. He invested in Legacy Motor Club which competes at the top level. From singing about wagons to literally owning fast cars. That is what we call career acceleration.

-----

If you like free music. Nashville just planned your summer. CMA Fest announced around 150 artists for daytime stages. Names include Ernest, Melissa Etheridge, Tucker Wetmore, more. The free shows run June fourth through seventh downtown. Wallet stays full. Voice will absolutely not.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
