OUR KIX CRITTER OF THE WEEK IS ISBAT!!

This sweet senior girl was found outside in very rough shape. She is declawed and at least partially blind, which made surviving on her own incredibly difficult. When she was found, she was skinny, covered in fleas, and showed signs of having been in a few scuffles. Despite everything she’s been through, she remains gentle, affectionate, and full of heart.

Now in a safe environment, she’s slowly getting back on her feet. Her weight is improving, her coat is healthier, and she’s beginning to enjoy the comfort and safety of indoor life. She loves catnip, soft beds, and treats—and more than anything, she just wants a lap to curl up on.

She has her “old lady” moments and may get a little growly from time to time, but it’s all part of her charm. She would thrive in a quiet, patient home where she can feel secure and loved. She’ll do best with someone who understands the needs of senior cats, especially those with vision limitations and a history of neglect.

This resilient girl has so much love left to give. She’s looking for a calm, safe place to spend her golden years—could it be with you? More information

The List for Thursday, February 19th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Travis Kelce is out here setting expectations so high the rest of us are gonna get yelled at for bringing home gas station flowers. He’s reportedly spent $141,000 on pre-wedding gifts for Taylor Swift, including Rolex watches, designer jackets, and daily flower deliveries. Daily. Meanwhile, I forgot my anniversary once and tried to fix it with a breakfast burrito. Travis Kelce just ruined relationships for every man in America.

-----

Lainey Wilson is teasing new music, and the title might be the most Lainey Wilson thing ever. The new single is called “Can’t Sit Still,” which tracks, because she’s been everywhere except my back yard party. She says her friends describe her as “a suitcase with legs,” which honestly sounds like Delta Airlines lost her twice already. No official release date yet, but she says it’s coming “real soon,” so prepare your playlists accordingly.

-----

Bunnie XO just revealed she thought Jelly Roll was a jerk when they first met, which proves once again women love a fixer-upper. She said he had “teddy bear with teeth energy” and sad eyes, and she basically looked at him like a home improvement project from HGTV. Fast forward to now, they’re one of Country music’s biggest power couples. Moral of the story, sometimes the guy who ignores you becomes your husband.

-----

The new Mummy reboot is ditching the Tom Cruise action vibe and going straight for emotional damage. This one’s from the director of Evil Dead Rise, so instead of running from explosions, you’ll be running from your own nightmares. It’s about a girl who disappears and comes back after spending quality time inside a 3,000-year-old coffin. It hits theaters April 17th, and I’ll be watching it from the safety of daylight and denial.

You can catch The List, this afternoon at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
