Pack the Backpack, presented by Central Office Supply, a division of Minuteman and Kix 101.1! Each month during the school year, we will be awarding $101 to a Kix Country classroom to help out with supplies. We will award the prize on the last Wednesday of the month. You can listen to each new winner at 8:30a on the Morning Kix Start.
Our Holiday Edition of Pack the Backpack continues this week with our winner being Mrs. Shelly Chandler, English Teacher at Marshalltown High School. She was nominated by someone who wishes to remain anonymous. Here is what they wrote to Kix 101.1.:
Shelly Chandler is devoted to her students and MCSD. She is the perfect recipient and will be incredibly appreciative! She consistently puts her students first and pushes them toward success at MHS! If you call MHS, I’m sure they will have someone who can speak to her ability and dedication to our community.
