The List for Tuesday, July 29th 2025

Welcome to The List,

Everybody wants to go viral with their ridiculous popcorn buckets, but Marvel just said “hold my butter.” The new Fantastic Four bucket is shaped like Galactus’ head… lights up… and holds 341 ounces of popcorn. It’s officially the world’s biggest popcorn bucket. Because apparently, movies now come with a side of Guinness Records.

-----

So a Miranda Lambert concert clip just blew up on TikTok—and not because of her voice. A fan caught a clear shot of her backstage passes and the top comment? “Now we know why the front row is so expensive.” I mean, she did say she was bringing the heat to Seattle.

-----

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s $25 million Netflix movie is stuck in development... limbo. No director, no cast, and apparently, no one with a wallet is touching it. One insider said, “This isn’t 2020. Meghan’s sparkle has dimmed.” Translation: Netflix is holding the bag, and the bag is empty.

-----

Beyoncé just broke the record for the highest-grossing country music tour of all time. Yeah, you heard that right—COUNTRY. She made over $407 million. Meanwhile, Zach Bryan—actual country dude—only pulled in $321 million. Somebody remind Queen B: rhinestones don’t make you Nashville.

You can catch The List on weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1

OUR KIX CRITTER OF THE WEEK IS BRIDGET!!

Bridget was found at Three Bridges City Park after a kind passerby noticed her alone and suspected she had been dumped. She was brought to the shelter for care, but during her intake exam, we realized she was nursing and likely had kittens nearby. She was returned to the park.  A few days later, one of the staff members was able to locate Bridget and her kittens and bring the entire family safely to the shelter.

Since then, Bridget has done an amazing job caring for her babies. Thanks to her attentive mothering, the kittens are all healthy, thriving, and fully weaned. Now that her role as mom is complete, Bridget is ready to find a forever home of her own. Bridget is only 2 years old!

Bridget absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than cuddling and soaking up affection. She isn’t particularly fond of other adult cats and would prefer to be the only feline in the home. She has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations, has been microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Bridget is a sweet, loving cat who has been through a lot and is more than ready for the comfort and care of a permanent home. More information

SINCE SHE IS OUR KIX CRITTER HER ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $25.00!!!
