For those who are like me and are a last minute shopper, there is an opportunity to shop for Mother’s Day next weekend. Amy Pieper, County Director for Marshall County’s ISU Extension office tells listeners about a Plant Sale.
The plants will be donated from master gardeners who are thinning out what they have in their garden. Trees Forever will also be there giving away sapling trees, with roughly 10 different varieties.
This sale at the Iowa State Extension Office will run from 9am – Noon Saturday May 13th. Amy tells us that Marshalltown Garden Club and Daylily Society will each also be having a plant sale on May 13th.
