The List for Thursday, March 30th 2023

Welcome to The List,

On New Year’s Day, Jeremy Renner was run over by his own 14,000-POUND snowplow.  Needless to say, he’s still recovering.  But he sat down with Diane Sawyer for an interview that’ll air on ABC next week.  Diane lists off the injuries Jeremy suffered, and it’s horrifying. “They include a broken FACE and eye socket, eight ribs broken in 14 places, a broken right knee, left tibia, both ankles, collarbone, jaw, and right shoulder.  He also suffered a collapsed lung, and his liver was pierced by a rib bone.”  The interview airs Monday night at 10:00 p.m.

Parker McCollum tells CountryNow.com that he gave himself the nickname ‘The Limestone Kid’. Because when he was a kid working on his grand fathers ranch in Limestone County…He was obsessed with listening to ‘The Houston Kid’ by Rodney Crowell, and was really fascinated with Billy The Kid, so I kinda took my interest in that and put my own spin in it.” Parker McCollum “The Limestone Kid”.

Lainey Wilson likes to ask herself, ‘What Would Dolly Do?’ Saying “Dolly Parton, hands down, is one of the biggest inspirations, I mean, for so many people around the world. I mean, who she is, the way that she tells it how it is with a little bow wrapped on top, she’s just a good person, got a heart of gold.”

Here’s some fun news about “John Wick: Chapter 4, and Keanu Reeves! He’s pretty generous when it comes to giving gifts.  You probably have heard he gave some of the “John Wick: Chapter 4” stunt crew personalized Rolex watches. Well, he also gave the entire team custom, tailor-made T-shirts.  Each shirt depicted the number of times the person “died” throughout the movie.  For some of them, it was over 20 times…I can tell you after seeing this movie…those stunt people EARNED their paychecks that day…

The Daily Mail is reporting that Alec Baldwin reposted a tweet from UK rocker Peter Frampton about a shooting 26 years ago in a primary school killing 16 kids. And associating it with the Nashville shooting and gun control….and many didn’t take to kindly to his post…responding to Alec by telling HIM that he should “sit this one out”

NBC says “Tiger King” star Carole Baskin is planning to sell her big cat sanctuary if you’re interested!!   Her animals are being moved to a wildlife refuge in Arkansas. Carole says, “Once we have no cats at the sanctuary, we will sell the sanctuary property and use the proceeds to fund species-saving projects in the wild.”

The List for Tuesday, February 17th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Keith Urban is reportedly planning a Bahamas getaway with Nicole Kidman and their daughters to reconnect as a family. Because nothing fixes family tension like sunshine, ocean views, and drinks with tiny umbrellas. Sources say the Bahamas is neutral territory, not tied to Nashville, LA, or lawyers.

-----

AJ McLean says it’s time for a ‘90s pop Super Bowl halftime show featuring Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, NSYNC, and 98 Degrees. Basically, he wants the halftime show to look like your middle school dance playlist. And honestly, I’m not mad. One “Bye Bye Bye” dance break and half of America is throwing out a knee.

-----

Megan Moroney is doing something shocking in 2026…charging affordable ticket prices. Her new “Cloud 9” pop-up tour is nine shows in nine cities for just nine bucks a ticket. Nine dollars. That’s less than a beer, less than parking, and definitely less than your emotional support concert hoodie.

-----

Hollywood legend Robert Duvall has passed at 95, and Tim McGraw paid tribute to his Tender Mercies co-star and friend. Tim said they even texted each other over the years about movies and memories. Which is wild, because somewhere out there was Robert Duvall…just casually texting Tim McGraw like, “Hey man, Tender Mercies is on again.”

You can catch The List weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
