Well, people who didn’t know he was being paid called 911 . . . The studio chose an interesting spot, given that scenes from the original “Scream” were filmed in the area back in 1996. “Scream 6” hits theaters next Friday.

Lainey Wilson pledged to donate $1 from every ticket for her sold out tour to We Are Moving the Needle. It’s a nonprofit organization that supports women in the recording and professional audio industry. Laney said, quote, “Thank you for the genuine and continued support to lift up women in music.”

Something wicked this way comes in the haunting first look at Disney’s newest cinematic take on its popular amusement park attraction. The studio dropped a teaser trailer for the upcoming pic, and The minute-and-a-half look teases how Gabbie, a single mother and new owner of a very haunted mansion, teams up with a ragtag group to help her and her 9-year-old son, Travis stave off the home’s spooky inhabitants. Matthew McConaughey and his wife were recently on a flight from Austin, Texas to Washington DC when they experienced severe turbulence. Their flight dropped 4,000 feet. Seven people were sent to the hospital. The plane was diverted. Everyone is expected to be okay.

Sam Hunt’s got a heck of a romantic bone when it comes to his music, but he’s really thinking ahead when it comes to his daughter. He tells People magazine that he didn’t want to give his daughter a beautiful girl name. “Her name is Lucy Louise. I tell people that I wanted to give her old lady names. I don’t want to have to deal with guys coming over when she’s older.”
