Would the world be a better place if more people got CLOCKED for doing ignorant stuff?  Brantley Gilbert thinks so.  He just did an interview with Outsider.com this is what he said, “A lot of the problems in our society right now stem from the fact that people don’t get punched in the face anymore.”  He said it applies to people being jerks online too, and hiding behind their laptops. He referenced a video of him just the other day jumping off stage to kick a guy out of a recent concert.  The guy reportedly hit a GIRL in the crowd, and Brantley saw it.

Radar Online claims Arnold Schwarzenegger’s friends allegedly want him to hire a chauffeur because of his latest traffic accident in which he hit a biker. A source tells the website, Arnie’s pal thinks it’s time to let someone else do the driving. He loves cruising around Los Angeles, but he seems to be cursed, and his friends want him to quit while he’s still ahead.

—–

Tractor Supply Company partnered with Lainey Wilson, Ashley McBryde, Jimmie Allen, Dustin Lynch, along with the Opry, to launch something called the “Emerging Artists Program.”  It’s basically a platform to discover and develop new country music artists.  Lainey Wilson made the announcement on the Opry stage just this week.

The List for Friday, February 13th 2026

Welcome to The List,

Brantley Gilbert sang “Dirt Road Anthem” at the Turning Point USA halftime show, and Zach Bryan took it personally. So Zach dropped a parody called “Chili on a Hot Dog,” basically roasting the lyrics and celebrating double-fisted chili dogs like it’s a county fair championship. Brantley fired back by grabbing two foot-long chili dogs on stage and acting it out. Jason Aldean chimed in with, “Best song I’ve heard from that guy.” Nothing says country unity like processed meat.

-----

Thomas Rhett admitted on a podcast he’s losing hearing in one ear at 35 and had to get hearing aids. Years of loud concerts… plus four kids and a fifth on the way. He wore them for a week and asked his wife, “Is this what you hear all day?” She basically said, welcome to marriage. Turns out the loudest tour of his life is at home.

-----

There’s a new indie horror movie called ‘The House Was Not Hungry Then’, told entirely from the haunted house’s perspective. No close-ups. No dramatic reaction shots. Just the house silently watching a woman search for her missing father. It hits video on demand February 13th. So now even the drywall is judging you.

-----

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer says he’s working on Top Gun 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 6. He told Screen Rant it’s basically a horse race. Right now Top Gun is barely ahead, waiting on a script. So Maverick might fly again… or Jack Sparrow might stumble back in. Hollywood is saying…. originality is overrated.

You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
