Shane Profitt met his mentor, Chris Janson, for the first time at a sushi restaurant, which is ironic because up to that point he had never eaten sushi and was pretty sure he didn’t like it. The “How It Outta Be’ singer was only at the restaurant because he was on a date with a girl who said she wanted sushi. “The crunchy shrimp sushi roll is my go to if we go to a sushi restaurant. I still haven’t stepped into the raw aspect of the sushi side, but maybe one day I’ll expand my horizons and step into that raw sushi aspect. “
