Rapper Ice Cube wants to make another “Friday” sequel but needs Warner Brothers to give him control of the franchise. Quote, “They need to do the right thing, get it to us, let us turn it into more money, and make the fans happy.” He’s says he’s already written two scripts for a potential sequel.

Here’s a good reason to stay home Thursday night: The ABC docuseries “Superstar” premiered last year, with each one-hour episode about a different celebrity. Last year’s lineup included Whitney Houston, Kobe Bryant, Robin Williams, and Patrick Swayze. Season two starts this Thursday, and the first episode is all about the great Reba McEntire. It includes guest appearances by Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Kristin Chenoweth, Wynonna Judd, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, and Dierks Bentley.

The word is out…two more movies in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise are in the works. Director Jerry Bruckheimer who produced all five films in the saga said as much. The idea is to bring Johnny Depp back as Captain Jack Sparrow and a Margo Robbie spinoff is a possibility.

Have you seen Blake Shelton’s show ‘Barmageddon’ … WWE Hall of famer Nikki Bella, Carson Daly in a cowboy hat and of course…Blake Shelton on stage at his bar Ole Red…He got the idea for the opening for the show from Kelly Clarkson “She opens everyone of her episodes with a song, so thought man, I’m gonna do that. I’m going to do what Kelly does but better. So, I decided that I’m gonna do a classic bar karaoke theme song every episode of Barmageddon.” in the premier episode it was Blake versus Kane Brown. ‘Barmageddon’ airs on Mondays on USA.
