The List for Thursday, September 22nd 2022

Welcome to The List,

Brad Pitt is getting into the skin care business.  He has a new skincare line called Le Domaine . . . and his inspiration was his ex-girl friend Gwyneth Paltrow. If you need more motivation than that to jump on board, how about this:  The products contain antioxidants made with grapes from Brad’s Chateau Miraval winery.

More information has come to light about why Maren Morris told the “L.A. Times” that she might not attend the CMAs…it’s because of her dustup with Brittany Aldean (Jason Aldean’s wife). The Internet was all over that.  Someone gave her “serious respect for all the good she uses her voice for.”  Another said, “Please, do everyone a favor and don’t show up.”

It looks like Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, and Walker Hayes are up for the 2022 CMT Artists of the Year.  The ceremony will premiere Friday, October 14th on CMT.  There’ll be special guest performances to honor them that’ll be announced as it gets closer…

Yahoo news reports that the hunt for the next James Bond is on…and that anyone wanting the part should be ready for a ten-to-twelve-year commitment to the franchise.  It’s not something everyone wants to do.  It was hard enough to get Daniel Craig to do it….

—–

Axel Foley is back for one last job….Eddie Murphy has brought the entire original cast back for ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley’ and adding Taylour Paige and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. But it doesn’t have a release date just yet.

—–

Trace Adkins tells Fox News Digital that he wants Blake Shelton to guest star on his TV show “Monarch”. “I think we should bring Blake Shelton, let him play my stupid younger brother. That’s kind of what he is anyway.”

You can catch The List, weekdays at 2:20 and 4:20 on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1

"She loves her job. She is good at her job. And she loves the students like they are her own kids."

"She works hard to help kids with behavior issues be successful at becoming their best self and helps get them on the right track to being able to be in classes with the other kids."

"Sarah is amazing with her students. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that her students are taken care of."

"Sarah teaches in and out of school no matter where you see her. She is always buying supplies, rewards, etc. out of her own pocket to ensure the kids are getting what they need. She goes above and beyond what any teacher is required to do. There are times she brings snacks to ensure kids get a birthday at school, Buys McDonalds, etc. if a child works hard enough on their issue etc."

The List for Tuesday, March 31st 2026

Welcome to The List,

Taylor Swift has officially entered her glittery legal era again. A Las Vegas performer says Taylor’s use of “The Life Of A Showgirl” is stomping all over her own brand, “Confessions of a Showgirl.” She’s suing for trademark infringement, wants damages, and an injunction too.

Only Kid Rock could turn a poolside salute into a military investigation. The Army says two Blackhawk helicopters near his Tennessee mansion were just on a Nashville training route, but now they’re checking into why they hovered there. Kid says nobody’s getting in trouble and called it pretty neat. Nothing says casual Tuesday like cannonballs, patriotism, and two black helicopters hovering near your house…

-----

Riley Green is stacking side quests like a pro. He’s making his TV debut on Marshals in mid-April. And because sleep is for other people, he’s also reportedly opening a second Duck Blind bar in Gatlinburg. At this point Riley’s building a country music cinematic universe.

-----

Thomas Rhett says one of his favorite parts of touring is trying wild new foods on the road, which sounds adventurous and expensive. Meanwhile Dylan Scott keeps it a little more backyard chaos at home, admitting he’ll wander into the kitchen at midnight and cook a full meal like it’s noon. His wife wakes up confused; he’s making dinner round two. That’s not a snack, that’s a second shift.
