Welcome to The List,
Venom Star Tom Hardy won two gold medals in a charity jiu-jitsu tournament in England. It was in support of an organization that teaches the martial art as a form of therapy for veterans and members of the military and emergency services who experience depression and PTSD.

Stadium tours can be intimidating, but not to Luke Combs. Here’s what he said when someone asked how he feels about them. Quote, “Honestly, [an] indescribable feeling . . . and hopefully I get to do it for a whole lot longer. But yeah, there’s really nothing like it.”

Keanu Reeves really IS John Wick. A producer for the franchise said Keanu has done 90% of his own stunts in the first four movies. This statistic comes from a new book all about the series called “They Shouldn’t Have Killed His Dog”. To put Keanu’s badassery into perspective, he turns 58 next week. The first “John Wick” came out in 2014, making him like 49 or 50 when he started the series. So yep, he’s been doing all this stunt work throughout his 50s.

Feathers are being ruffled, The new issue of “Rolling Stone UK” has Harry Styles on the cover, and it crowns him the, quote, “New King of Pop”. As you might expect, that isn’t going over well with Michael Jackson fans. Michael’s own nephew Taj Jackson Tweeted, “There is no new King of Pop. You don’t own the title Rolling Stone, and you didn’t earn it, my uncle did. Decades of dedication and sacrifice. The title has been retired. No disrespect to Harry Styles, he’s mega talented. Give him his own unique title.”

If you want to follow someone on Instagram that’s always interesting, I suggest Kacey Musgraves. She’s been on tour in Japan . . . and has been sharing videos and pics on her Instagram stories. The one everyone’s talking about is the clip of her eating a fried cricket. She also posted a photo of the “deep-fried insects” section of the menu, and that features scorpions and tarantulas… ah…nope!! nope…and nope…

And finally Delaware Online reports that Jimmie Allen is going to start a side hussle….he’s training for the WWE in January.

Welcome to The List,
Brantley Gilbert sang “Dirt Road Anthem” at the Turning Point USA halftime show, and Zach Bryan took it personally. So Zach dropped a parody called “Chili on a Hot Dog,” basically roasting the lyrics and celebrating double-fisted chili dogs like it’s a county fair championship. Brantley fired back by grabbing two foot-long chili dogs on stage and acting it out. Jason Aldean chimed in with, “Best song I’ve heard from that guy.” Nothing says country unity like processed meat.

Thomas Rhett admitted on a podcast he’s losing hearing in one ear at 35 and had to get hearing aids. Years of loud concerts… plus four kids and a fifth on the way. He wore them for a week and asked his wife, “Is this what you hear all day?” She basically said, welcome to marriage. Turns out the loudest tour of his life is at home.

There’s a new indie horror movie called ‘The House Was Not Hungry Then’, told entirely from the haunted house’s perspective. No close-ups. No dramatic reaction shots. Just the house silently watching a woman search for her missing father. It hits video on demand February 13th. So now even the drywall is judging you.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer says he’s working on Top Gun 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 6. He told Screen Rant it’s basically a horse race. Right now Top Gun is barely ahead, waiting on a script. So Maverick might fly again… or Jack Sparrow might stumble back in. Hollywood is saying…. originality is overrated.
You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
