DIERKS BENTLEY and ELLE KING will be hosting this year’s “CMA Fest:  The Music Event of the Summer“.  The three-hour concert special will air August 3rd on ABC And GABBY BARRETT needs help naming her baby boy, who is due later this year.  She asked fans to submit boy names on her Instagram Stories . . .and at the bottom she wrote “Southern or biblical is preferred.”

Keith Urban recently wrapped the European leg of his The Speed Of Now Tour and sported a surprising ensemble during the final night of the trek: a kilt!  When Urban’s tour rolled through Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, the country superstar fully embraced the local culture, and his mother’s Scottish heritage, by donning a kilt on stage. In fact, Urban and his entire band sported kilts for the occasion.

Seattle Sports says Blake Shelton has been named the Indy 500 Grand Marshal. He will tell drivers to report to their cars during Sunday’s pre-race ceremonies  Parmalee star Matt Thomas tells People magazine that it feels weird to be the last single man in the group.  He’s LOOKIN…but, so far no bueno. The rest of these guys got someone that was able to stand them. He says “That means there has to be hope for me.”

Fortune Magazine reports the producers of “Top Gun: Maverick” paid the U.S. Navy $11,000 an hour for fighter jet rides . The magazine says Tom Cruise could be in the cockpit but couldn’t touch any of the controls.  The cast was filmed sitting behind an F-18 pilot. They underwent emergency training and knew how to survive at sea and eject should a plane crash occur.

AMBER HEARD took the stand yesterday for the final time in her defamation battle against JOHNNY DEPP, and told the court what a NIGHTMARE her life has been since the trial started. Closing arguments begin this morning, then the case goes to the jury.

The NY Post says Kelly Osbourne went off on WWE star Becky Lynch for trashing her dad, Ozzy, during Monday Night Raw. Becky joked the only good thing from Birmingham died a month ago. Kelly clapped back, calling her a disrespectful dirtbag. Somewhere, Ozzy’s like: “Wait… I’m what?!”

A 2016 Morgan Wallen interview is resurfacing where he named his dream lineup: himself headlining, plus Eric Church, Chris Cornell, Drake, and Tim McGraw. That’s not a concert that’s a Spotify shuffle. Imagine Drake and Tim McGraw on the same stage. Talk about a confused audience.

Carly Pearce just admitted on Bunnie XO’s podcast that her real name is Carly Cristyne Slusser. She said Slusser was “a horrible name for a country singer.” Yeah, no kidding. Slusser. Sounds more like a farm equipment brand than a chart-topper.
