Two area school districts have been announced as recipients of the prestigious “STEM BEST H.D Program Award.”

The BCLUW and West Marshall districts have been announced as recipients for the award for the year 2022.

The “STEM BEST” program is designed to help better improve the relationships between businesses and schools to improve postsecondary employment in high demand career fields.

The program, which will be launched during the 2022-23 school year, is geared primarily toward high school juniors and seniors.

In total, 38 school districts were named as “STEM BEST H.D. Program Award” recipients for the year 2022 with each individual partnership being supported by up to $40,000.
