Carly Pearce says this is going to be an especially happy Thanksgiving for her this year. “I mean I think so many of my dreams have come true this past year in a way that I never thought could actually happen, especially in one calendar year. So, I think I’m just going into this holiday season feeling so happy and extra grateful just for where I’m at in my life.”

Midland’s Cameron Duddy Says He’s Batting .500 When Cooking Turkeys … “Eight years I’ve done the turkey, and that’s a high stress scenario. I’m 50-50 for it. Like, I’m batting 500. I’ll burn it one year and then just cook the greatest turkey the second year.” He’s doin better than I am…it’s going to be Oscar Meyer Turkey slices or Chili Dogs for me….

Michael Strahan is going into space aboard Blue Origin’s ‘New Shepard’ rocket. But he won’t be alone “Joining me in the capsule, Laura Shepard Churchly, the eldest daughter of the first American to ever fly to space Alan Shepard. Welcome to The List,
Hookup shows come and go. Paychecks apparently stay forever. Taylor Frankie Paul will still get her full Bachelorette salary. TMZ says the payday lands in the low to mid six figures. The season got shelved after that viral domestic violence video resurfaced. Reality TV motto. Love fades. Direct deposit survives.
-----
Some guys jog. Some guys apparently brawl with neighbors. “Reacher” star Alan Ritchson reportedly got into a physical altercation. Sources say intense behavior is kind of his brand at this point. He doesn’t think he crossed a line. Neither does the authorities,
-----
Country star meets horsepower. This feels aggressively on brand. Darius Rucker is now a NASCAR Cup Series team owner. He invested in Legacy Motor Club which competes at the top level. From singing about wagons to literally owning fast cars. That is what we call career acceleration.
-----
If you like free music. Nashville just planned your summer. CMA Fest announced around 150 artists for daytime stages. Names include Ernest, Melissa Etheridge, Tucker Wetmore, more. The free shows run June fourth through seventh downtown. Wallet stays full. Voice will absolutely not.
You can catch The List, weekday afternoons at 4:20 with Jonathan Knight. Only on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
