Ed Ohrt shares about the event to honor his son, Noah.
Noah was diagnosed at 15 with Ewing Sarcoma, a very aggressive primary form of bone cancer and can be in the bone or soft tissue. Noah became an Angel at 17, on March 8, 2014.
Noah’s Love 3rd Childhood Cancer Fundraiser is Saturday, November 6, at the Lincoln Amvet Hall, in Lincoln from 4:30 p.m. to midnight.
The meal begins at 6:30 with pulled pork sandwiches smoked by John Shouse, cheesy potatoes, beans, Leah Cupcakes, bars, cookies and drink. Live entertainment provided by the Craig Gerdes Band.

DeWalt compact worksite radio, The Farm Stand/Becky Bobier cookbooks, National Farm Toy Museum tickets, Noah’s Love t-shirts, a framed 1959 Chevy Apache 3100 drawing by Jack Lavern Tompkins and many other items.
Last year’s event was unfortunately canceled twice due to the pandemic. Ed said he would honor tickets purchased for last year’s fundraiser.

Maddie & Tae are officially calling it quits after 15 years together. Tae says she’s stepping away to raise her kids, and Maddie is heading into her solo chapter. Country duos break up worse than boy bands. . From “Girl in a Country Song” to “Die from a Broken Heart,” they gave us the harmonies AND the therapy.

Jason Aldean’s six-year-old daughter Navy lost her first tooth and not to the Tooth Fairy, but to a knee in the face during some vacation roughhousing. That’ll teach ya! One moment you’re having family fun, the next you’re spitting teeth like a tiny MMA fighter. At least the Tooth Fairy pays better than UFC.

Golden Globe nominations dropped yesterday, and One Battle After Another and The White Lotus are leading the pack in movies and TV. The show airs January 11th on CBS. Soooo….get ready for another three-hour Hollywood party where everyone pretends to be surprised and the host makes at least one joke that gets them in trouble on Twitter.
