It BECAME a country song because Brad Paisley did it. I don’t know whether we thought of it as a country song.: William Shatner does a spoken word performance while Brad sings. The album was released last Friday.

A source tells the magazine. “It’s a complicated process and proving to be a little stressful. Britney Spears will have another big day in court today with cries to Free Britney at an all-time high. Spears will likely appear virtually as she has previously at the conservatorship hearing set to take place at 1:30 p.m. PT in Los Angeles. The hearing’s top item is the removal of Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, as conservator of her estate. There is also the slight possibility that the conservatorship could be terminated. If you don’t know what’s going on I suggest the documentary on Netflix “Britney vs Spears’ it’s very insightful and will get you caught up.

Sad news from the NASCAR world. Greg Biffle, one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers, has died at age 55 in a plane crash in North Carolina. Authorities say seven people were killed, including Biffle, his wife Cristina, and their two children. Beyond his racing success, Biffle was widely praised for his humanitarian work, especially helping communities after Hurricane Helene. The racing world is mourning a champion on and off the track.

Tom Cruise is allegedly on a long, carefully planned mission to become Sir Tom Cruise. A source says this has been years in the making hosting events, shaking hands, embedding himself deep in the British film world. Apparently he knows exactly how the system works and he’s been playing the long game. At this point, don’t be shocked if the next Mission: Impossible ends with him bowing politely and accepting a sword tap on each shoulder.
