The List for Wednesday, July 28th 2021

Welcome to The List,

Thomas Rhett may be one of country music’s biggest stars, but his biggest fears are probably pretty similar to yours mentioning that some of his phobias are a bit “strange.” But one that I can relate to!! Spiders! He doesn’t like spiders and roaches…you can keep those too. Something that I wouldn’t have thought, was that he doesn’t like to be in the dark by himself. He usually sleeps with the TV on when sleeping by himself.” All in all, not that strange or uncommon

People love country music for different reasons…Cole Swindell of course loves country music, he makes a living with it but beyond THAT.. “Because it tells a story it makes you feel something whether it’s a fun song getting you through a good time or a sad song getting you through a bad time it always makes me feel something that’s why I love country music.”

Matt Damon  talks about letting Ben Affleck crash on his couch being the inspiration for ‘Good Will Hunting” “Instantly became untenable, all of his stuff in our living room.  We Were like, we gotta change this.  I think that’s what made us work so hard on the screenplay, we had to get out of that apartment.” Matt has a new movie ‘Stillwater’ in theaters Friday.

Bob Odenkirk has been hospitalized. The 58-year-old actor collapsed on the set of Better Call Saul and was rushed to the hospital on Tuesday. Odenkirk remains under medical care. No further update on his condition was shared.  Odenkirk was filming on the Sony Lot in Culver City, California, when he fell and crew members called the ambulance, per TMZ who was first to report the news. Odenkirk is currently shooting the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul.

You can catch The List, weekdays at 2:20 and 4:20 on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1
